A way for users to show off their Mii creations and vote on those created by others.

Nintendo has today announced the imminent release of the latest Wii channel, Check Mii Out, which will be available to download from the WiiWare section of the Wii Shop from November 11. Unfortunately this date currently only applies to US Wiis, with UK gamers without a confirmed release.
Check Mii Out will make it possible for Wii users to submit, exchange or just browse Miis posted by others in their region or worldwide. View Miis at random or chose to view the current all-time favourites. Users will also be able to search for Miis by creator name. If you find a Mii you like it will be easy to import it to your own system.
Additionally, a contest section of the channel challenges users to submit Mii creations to represent a specific person, character or theme. This might include historical figures (Abraham Lincoln or Vincent Van Gogh), fictional characters (the Tooth Fairy or the New Year's Baby) or themes ("the biggest bully ever" or "the overbearing boss"). Once submitted users can then vote on Miis to determine the winner. Contests will generally last for two weeks, with a week for submissions and a week for voting.
"It's yet another way that we're building fun, interactive communities of Wii owners without charging them extra for the privilege," said George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications.
Before the year is out Nintendo has also promised gift giving functionality, which will make it possible to send a Virtual Console title to a friend.
