Choosing between three RPGs..

I havent touched my DS in over two years, but Im going on a big trip soon (9 hour car ride) and Im looking for something to entertain me. Ive found three RPGs that look like the best the DS has to offer, But I cant decide on which to pick because I only have enough funds for one.

So, between Dragon Quest V, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV, which would be the best for longest playtime/easy pickup/putdown-ability/most fun? Ive never played any of these games, Ive played FF12 once and DQ8 but otherwise, I have no experience for any of the franchises.

Well obviously Dragon Quest V. One of the best installments of the greates RPG series ever made. I've always been mad about Final Fantasy becoming popular by completely copying Dragon Quest

Storyline - FInal Fantasy IV: Awesome story of love, and revenge. Great character devoloptment

Gameplay: Dragon Quest V: Cool way of presenting battles, plus you can move the camera, giving it a unique feeling.

Honost opinion, Final Fantasy 4 is one of my favorite games of all time so of course I would pick it. DragoN Quesst 5 is high p there too... but FF4 is where its at.

Chrono Trigger. First time I played it was on DS too and I can see why it's so well loved.

I did not even finish reading your post but as soon as a saw Chrono trigger i am going to tell you to get it. Its my favorite game of all time and i do not play that many RPGs

Have you considered The World Ends With You? Personally, I think it's much better than Chrono Trigger. Fantastic style, fantastic setting, intriguing story, and has the best/most unique RPG battle system I've ever played. Look it up, if you're a fan of Square Enix you won't be dissapointed! :)

Out of the three RPG's you gave, definitely buy Final Fantasy IV. But, if you haven't already looked into The World Ends With You, you should consider getting that, too.

Definitely Chrono Trigger if you never played it on SNES.

I heard that Chrono Trigger is really good but I don't have an opinion on any of those games...
