Mario 64, ocarina of time and more games are just as fun as they were when they released.

No, not at all, both of those games are good at best compared to what is available these days
Chrono Trigger is a great game if you've played other games of it's time and if you're just starting to play the game or it's genre now they're good games
seriously.....seriously? I dont even know why I am responding to you JasonGuy lol. I should know better by now.
Yes seriously
For people who never played Mario 64 or OOT when they (or games like them) were released they have not held up that well, they have horrible cameras, twitchy controls, and simply adequate visuals. Can they still be enjoyed today? Sure, as a look back for people and for nostalgia but for someone who's never played them? They're passable games that are playable, they're not great and they're not memorable, they're just able to be played.
Chrono Trigger is a bit better then either of those games because things like camera and controls issues don't plague the game just because it's older. The visuals are simple but pleasing unlike the ugliness that crept in when 3D gaming was just starting in the mainstream.
Does that mean that everyone is going to love it? No way, for the most part the people who love the game will be people who played it or other games like it during that time. People who are just getting into the game or games like it then will find a lot to enjoy but it's not going to blow their socks off. The game is too dated.
