This is the only thing I've seen from the game:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdydLwJR3a0

It just reveals that it has a similar art sty'le and that Clavats are in it and so on. I don't know anything about the controls or gameplay, but I really hope that that's also similar to the previous game.

There's no release date for the game, but it's scheduled for 2007.

No please not like the first game. The gameplay was good at the begining but later on it got too tiring.
I want the gameplay to be better.....i dont know how.....but i need it to be better. And get some summoning in there too because that will really add A LOT t the game!
Also some better storyline rather than small stories here and there that have nothing to do with the main character!Give more debth to the storyline and add some voice acting with some epic battles and you got a deal my friend.......dont forget the summoning part though! ;)

My biggest gripe with the GC cyrstal chronicles was how two-player worked.  In single player you didn't have to worry about the chalice, and with 3 or 4 players it wasn't too hard to have someone always holding the chalice, but I found 2 player impossible to play, because the bosses got harder, but since half of your team was always holding the chalice you only had half the firepower.

Not when a boss moves around so much that you have to be constantly picking up the chalice if you want to fight, but stay in the chalice's field.  It's not so bad with 3 or 4 players, because you just make the weakest player hold the chalice, but with 2 players I could never do it.

When I played multi-player with only 1 friend I didn't have a problem with this.. We put the chalice down, kicked boss-butt and picked the chalice up when needed and moved it a little and put it down again. We never had to have one holding it all the time. This shouldn't be needed while playing with 3 other either. I don't think the one holding the chalice all the time would be having much fun.. :P

It wasn't much fun.  We only play if we have four players.
