too bad you wont play many games with it, i bought the classic classic controllers but almost no games support it so theyre just collecting dust , never understood why classic controls arent a option on most games especially with bad motion controls or the ones where you play with the wiimote sideways (with the tiny d-pad and crappy 1 & 2 buttons)
Really? Lots of games that I have support the classic controller.too bad you wont play many games with it, i bought the classic classic controllers but almost no games support it so theyre just collecting dust , never understood why classic controls arent a option on most games especially with bad motion controls or the ones where you play with the wiimote sideways (with the tiny d-pad and crappy 1 & 2 buttons)

Really? Lots of games that I have support the classic controller. tell me which ones pls , i might get them , exclude vc pleaseThe only thing I wish they did with the C l a s s i c Controller Pro is if they moved the left thumbstick to the correct position.
They had it right last gen but for some reason they decided to go back to the archaic dual thumbsticks on the bottom of the controller, that design is flawed.
I'm hoping they offer one with left thumbstick moved to the right place

I really do wish that the stick and the D-pad switched places.
I actually prefer the stick to be downstairs.
Simply because I want the D-pad upstairs in order to play 2D games, because as it is it works both ways. Switching places would be more flawed for 2D games than it is presently for 3D ones.
The priority is to have the best compromize, not to have 1 setup ideal and the other flawed.

No, it's broken how it is now
Last gen was just fine with the D pad lower because on the games when you use the D pad you're not going back to the thumbstick for any reason.
On the other hand there's a lot of games that feature the thumbstick and then using the D pad for something else so you're going between the two.
When you compromise you make no one happy, they should have went with their Gamecube design (which Nintnedo said was better designed then both thumbsticks on the bottom that gen) and leave it at that

Both Opinion. I'll leave it at that. The only thing I dont like is how the 2 grips are so parrallel to each other just like a GC controller.
It makes it a lot less comfortable to hold for me :( wish they would be more angled like all the other dual analog controllers.
Also the joysticks themselves feel very cheap compared to other analog contrllers, even the GC joysticks fell better.

It's designed originally for everything on the Virtual Console. Hence the term "c l a s s i c". But there are quite a few retail Wii games that support it.

Also, No More Heroes 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom work with the CC, therefore they will work with the CC Pro. TMNT Smash Up and I think the new Sonic Racing game support CC and CC Pro also. So there are some decent Wii disc games that support it as wells VC and WiiWare games.

Does that mean you dislike the PS3 dualshock controller too jaysonguy? Because personally, I despise the PS3 controller, and the clas sic controller layout is similar.
although, it works well for virtual console games (except n64 games)
Your classic's been collection dust because you don't get games that use it. Here are some games that use it : 1. Naruto fighting games 2. Guilty Gear games 3. Tatsunoko vs Capcom 4. Monster Hunter Tri 5. Muramasa 6. Punchout 7 Upcoming Sin and Punishment 2 Those are only some of the games that support the Classic and a lot of Virtual Console games requires it like Sin and Punishment and Super Mario World plus almost all them support the controller.too bad you wont play many games with it, i bought the classic classic controllers but almost no games support it so theyre just collecting dust , never understood why classic controls arent a option on most games especially with bad motion controls or the ones where you play with the wiimote sideways (with the tiny d-pad and crappy 1 & 2 buttons)
