Recentely my mother (who is hooked to paper mario) started playing the game with hand lotion on so the remote turned a dull yellowish color and i want to know if theres a safe way to clean the remote without damaging it.

A cheap toothbrush works well. A very small amount of soap and water on the brush helps also but I'm not sure it will remove the yellowish tint.
