Club Nintendo 2010 awards announced for North America

Was hoping for another game d/l or different prizes to choose from like last year.

I chose the Figurines I love the look and I can put it on my tv stand next to my Big Daddy figurine and my Mario Hat.

I'm probably going to pick the Figurine, but I wish there was a second choice for the Platinum reward

So, if you managed to reach platinum you only get the platinum award? It seems to me you should get both because you've also reached gold...

i don't like how there is no option for platinum.

i can't seem to log in, of course maybe I just forgot my password, but when I try to get Nintendo to send it too me it just says password sent, and I never receive it in my inbox.

The website is acting up right now for me. I try to log in, it says my info is incorrect. I try again, it lets me.

I visit another page and it says I'm logged out, then just logs me out. I try to retrieve my account info,

but it says that I have to have an admin account to retrieve info for users under 13. I'm 14 and I know I registered with this

information.

How long do we have to claim our prizes?

The characters figurine is awesome! I have a ton of collectible figurines and stuff in my room, but I don't have any like this. For someone like myself who loves collecting things like this, it's an awesome reward. I think the only thing that would've been better is a Zelda figurine featuring either Link by himself or a bunch of Zelda characters would've been awesome too. I wasn't expecting this at all but I'm completely happy with it.

It's unfortunate they chose to give Gold Members Calanders yet again, it makes me think that's always going to be the reward for Gold Members every year. It's not even worth reaching Gold Status if the reward is just going to be Calendars. Platinum's where it's at.

How can I reach Gold or Platinum status?
Gold or Platinum status is based on the number of Coins earned in a Club Nintendo year. Each Club Nintendo year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. If you earn 300 Coins during a Club Nintendo year you will reach Gold status. Earn 600 Coins during a Club Nintendo year and reach Platinum status! If you are part of a Club Nintendo family account, the Coins that each family member earns are combined, so you have a better chance to reach Gold or Platinum status.

How can I earn Coins?
You can earn Coins by:

Registering a Nintendo DSi serial number, completing the associated survey, and linking your Nintendo DSi Shop to your Club Nintendo account (wireless broadband connection required) = 160 Coins. Click here for more information.

Registering a Nintendo DSi XL PIN and completing the associated survey.

Registering a Wii or Nintendo DS game and completing a quick survey.

Wii games = 50 Coins

Nintendo DS games = 30 Coins

Wii Shop Channel games and Wii Channels = 10 Coins

Indicating your intent to buy a game. You'll earn 10 extra Coins after you buy it, register it and complete the survey.

Registering a Nintendo game and completing a quick survey within 4 weeks of its launch. You'll earn an additional 10 Coins!

Completing a Post Play survey that will be available 7 days after the date the game is registered. For Wii and Nintendo DS games, the Post Play survey will not be available until the Product Registration survey is completed. You'll earn an additional 10 Coins!

Last year's software offering was much better because it's something you can't normally get and play, they also had the choice between the software and that disgustingly cheap Mario hat.

This year they took an easier route, found a nick-knack and called it a day.

I think that if you reach the platinum status there should be some sort of choice, the gold people can get whatever they can get because that's the "runner up" prize but if you're cashing in enough coins to get platinum (yearly) then two choices is more then fair.

I'm platinum status and it says I'm not eligible for the elite status reward. Is there something wrong?

The japan rewards this year are so much cooler, t shirts with 8 bit mario on them? Come on . they need to offer us the same rewards as they do over there.

That figurine looks cool, even though if I reached Platinum status I would have no room to put it anywhere. Betterregister some gamesnext year.
