Club Nintendo Platinum Rewards

I found about club nintendo rewards around 3 days ago, so I registered all the nintendo stuff I've accumulated trough the years until I got enough coins for platinum.
It said that if I reached that I would get some rewards for free.
What are those rewards?

The Gold and Platinum rewards for 2011 should be announced near the end of the month or shortly after.

The Club Nintendo year for 2011 ends on June 30, and the Club Nintendo year for 2012 stars on July 1st.

I'm also 20 points away! Unfortunately I bought Dead or Alive: Dimensions to get the remaining points, and found out afterwards that only games produced by Nintendo can get you points. Now I'm just relying on the post play survey for Ocarina of Time to get me those remaining points needed toward platinum. :|

Yeah, only first party Nintendo games earn you coins. That's why it's called Club Nintendo :P

And Post Play Surveys only give you 10 coins each, so just doing the one for OOT won't be enough if you need 20.

Actually its pretty much just games PUBLISHED by Nintendo that give you reward points on register. Games can be made by other parties (i think they nickname them 2nd parties, like level 5 and intelligent systems). It is still a limited coin pool, but it is a bit more than most would think. Anyway 3 time plat. right here for club intendo!

The cool think about nintendo is, well they suprise you! Recently (about a month ago) I ordered the game and watch collection 2 and to my great suprise I got a full present from nintendo for being a good customer! I got wii party, a wii mote w/plus , a couple of mii masks, and a 20 dollar card to dominos! It was super awesome!

I just hope it's something nifty to look at like last year's platinum reward. And not something I'll wear once as a joke and then throw on ebay.

Makes sense. But I figured there'd be some Club Nintendo incentive for buying any 3DS game, because you are supporting Nintendo and their system. Oh well, I don't mind getting stuck with Dead or Alive: Dimensions. Still a great game.

If worse comes to worse, I suppose I can go out and buy a Wii game last minute. It's about time I get Super Smash Bros. Brawl anyway.

How much stuff do you need to buy? I never bought a wii, but I picked up a 3DS with four games--I assume that won't do the trick, right?

I imagine platinum users might have the opportunity to get a link hat because of the 25th anniversary.
