COD 4 split screen?

Have they released whether or not the new COD will have split screen multiplayer or not? I really enjoy having people over to play, rather than online. If they dont include this option, I am afraid I will not be buying. I did not really care for WAW, mainly because of the 2 player mode. I refuse to even try conduit because of this as well.

This is the same problem for me as well. I really like split-screen and all the fps's on Wii don't have it. But I think the new Call of Duty has both split screen competitive and co-op, but I'm not sure.

It's great to know that I am not alone. I thought everyone jumped on the online bandwagon. I have it, but only play mario kart and some pc games online. I much prefer local multiplayer.

actually Red Steel is a split screen game. but i wouldnt recomend it.

Yeah there are some split screen fps on Wii, but they aren't really good.

Online is great, but it shouldn't come at a cost to split screen multiplayer. Wii still is the best for local multiplayer with Mario Kart, SSBB, Wii Sports (and resort), and NSMB Wii coming soon. I just got battlefield bad company for PS3 and while it is a fabulous game, I'm disappointed that I can't invite friends over to play it. Isn't Killzone 2 also lacking in split screen? COD WAW on wii had crappy local co-op.

Yeah, no splitscreen for KZ2.. very disappointing.

I really hope it does have split screen multiplayerbecause almost none wii shooter has it.

No spltscreen will not be included due to RAM limitations or sumthing. And lack of time. But to be fair id rather have the game a couple months later but with wii speak and splitscreen.

No split screen. Treyarch decided to put their limmited resources in to other areas instead. Although I agree with their decision, it's too bad for those that want a decent split screen FPS on the Wii.

You can always play MOH in arcade mode.

No Wiispeak? Unacceptable....

They better have split-screen in it,otherwise that'd be lazy. Same with them not having WiiSpeak,that's just lazy.

It would be sweet but i wont waste my money, i am investing in a Xbox 360 then i will get the game.

It does have co-op thank god lol. So it will obviously have offline split screen. i'm the online will as well.
