COD5 for wii sounds good!

Hey i just picked this information off http://www.nineinchsandwich.com/?p=449. It seems that the developers are actually attempting to make the wii game fantastic. Not only are they utilizing the cod4 engine, but they have basically confirmed some sort of co-op which is awsome. read it yourself.

It's a separate team from the next-gen team but its on-site. If you're going to compare the next-gen version and the wii version side-by-side then you're going to find that it's a much closer comparison than, I think, any other Wii game currently on the market."

Even though we have little information regarding these titles I wonder what will be better, this or the conduit?

This is called Call of Duty:World at War, you play as Americans in the Pacific (I knew it!) and Russians invading Germany. So yeah there is a chance that the game called Call of Duty 5 will be set in a modern setting.

I'm looking forward to this, if they manage to get good singleplayer with MOH:H2 style controls I'll be happy, but if they really get amazing graphics and they have online, I'm sold.

some details regarding CoD5

yeah although cod 3 wasnt too good it was better than having nothing at

people may see IW as being much better than Treyarch but they seem to be enthusiastic about the wii. although it might not be best third party game it good well be the best multiplatform third party game.

its not a PS2 port its not a spin off (not saying alll spin offs are bad) and it uses the same engine as OTHER next-gen consoles

it could even sell better on wii than other console( since they will be too busy complianing that its set in WWII again)

Can't say they were really allies during WW2. Hitler always was planning to invade USSR regardless of a treaty or lack of men.

I hope to god it is good on the wii, because i really want a good wii game right now. Seriously, i got my 360 two years ago christmas, around the time the wii and ps3 were being released, then the summer after i got a wii. I haven't had the 360 much longer than the wii and i have 29 360 games and 4 wii games if you count wii sports. i really want another wii game, i don't even like some of my wii games, they are just too childish for me. Call of Duty used to be my favorite game series ever when ijust had a gamecube and then call of duty 3 and 4 were released and now i totally lost my favorism towards call of duty games. Please make this good on wii because i do not want to be stuck with my friends at school always talking about how they could own each other in Call of Duty 4 and that "Seriously, you don't have enough experience to play veteran Ricky, you just don't." i hate it when my friends say that, because seriously i am better than all of them and only one won't admit it, and he is the one who was saying these things. Seriously i have way more experience than him and my other friends because the only call of duty game they have ever played is number 4. Whatever, i'm sure you guys don't care about my social life. I just really want to get away from my 360 and all of my friends on it.

Umm COD5 Def is not going to be WW2 again because they already at modern day so there is no reason for them to go back...Current conflicts or maybe futuristics even.XxXdoggersXxX

So how do you think it sounds compared to The Conduit? Both are confirmed online, Both are said to have great graphics, Both settings are completely different. One prop that Cod5 has is the co-op that sounds really cool. Hopefully they keep the online co-op in the wii version. Which one do you think will be better The Conduit or COD5?

Both games have very limited information released. It's too early to compare.

i'm not liking the fact that they're developing this with the zapper in mind. i'd much rather they make it with the nunchuk in mind (like metroid). I don't want another on rails shooter.Skunk_Mullet

We don't know if the graphics will be good. I will believe it when I see it.

I question whenever someone says something like, "not another WWII game!" because I've never gotten into a WWII game and it makes me wonder how many WWII games said person has played to not want another one. It's like me saying, "Not another Mario game in Mushroom Kingdom!" I don't think I'm at that point yet. :PZumaJones07

part of the reason is that multiple companies are developing WW2 games. There's been so many WW2 games. There are a lot of restrictions when it comes to WW2. It has to historically accurate, forcing the same kind of technology: including weapons, tanks, planes, grenades, and other vehicles and machinery and weaponry. Plus, since WW2 only took place in a few year life span (1939-1945 to be exact), all the famous battles and significant events make the WW2 games limited. At this point, pretty much all the major battles and signifigant events have been included at some point in one WW2 game or antoher. The thing is, it's most likely all been done before. Not a whole lot can be done to revolutionize the WW2 games. At least we'll get to actually aim and point with the Wiimote.

Now with Mario on the other hand, this is a made up character that has virtually infintie possibilities. Mario could very well be revolutionary 50 years in the future, or maybe even longer! You're not limited down by a whole lot, and with Shigeru Miyamoto still around, think of the possibilities. And even after that, I think we can still see much from the Italian plumber.

i think they are saying they will support the zapper, not that you HAVE to use the zapper since not everyone has one

it could be like UC where it gave the option to use it or not

We don't know if the graphics will be good. I will believe it when I see it.

we know the conduit has decent graphics from the trailer on ign. seems like the 'deathmatch confirmed' at the end was a hint at online. But i agree we need to see more of both games to really make a decision
