Actually it kinda makes sense if something like this happen. They did seem to go out of their way to show his whole-some heroic qualities. I do have to admit, that I couldn't figure out if he was a boy or a girl for quite sometime during the game.

MM is a direct sequel to OoT, so we have 3 different Links in those games.

I wouldnt mind seeing Colin as the next Link, although i had also heard that as has been already said, that WW was the end of the storyline so far, so that kinda rules Colin out, unless they create a new story in between WW and TP. A new direction will be good, and with the Wiimote, many possibilities have opened up

This is the next one, the king has gone crazy and done horrible things to the kingdom so there is a resistence. 400 years in the future theres the leader link who has found out about his lineage and has been fighting the king and his minions for 20 years. Oh man, those kids from Twilight Princess felt like a waste of time to me, really. Controlling Link, I didn't feel barely any relationship at all with one of the kids. The only Ordon "kid" worth mentioning was Ilia, who was closer to Link's age.
I hope to Buddha that those stupid kids don't come back unless they have some significance.

Actually there are five 3-D Zeldas: OOT, MM, WW, Phantom Hourglass (direct sequel to WW as follows immediatley after WW's ending) and TP. The Link in OOT and MM are the same. The Link in TWW and PH are also the same. So there have been 3 different 3-D Links--which I assume TP Link should get his second game as well. (It's only fair...lol)
Colin will be the next link but because he´s not supposed to be a heroe he will fail in his journey and hyrule will be flooded, well that´s just my idea
