Ok first of all I must say that I thought that Twilight princess was a fantastic game and one of all time favorites (even though I've only played it for gamecube) I've since then heard rumor (on some wiki) that the next wii zelda game will come out his year or early next. Anyways surely nintendo has been working on it practically since Twilight princess came out in 06 i believe. Although the ds Zelda games aren't bad there graphics are very poor. So this leads me to believe something so I must ask... Are the ds games they've come out with in between Twilight princess and the one coming out just to keep the zelda fans from complaining that it's taking too long for the next one to come out? Please post your thoughts thanks.
Zelda Wii has been in the works since before the release of Twilight Princess, maybe even as early 2005. Nintendo doesn't take feedback from user requests/ideas of what their fans want in the next of any titles.

They DS games are great and the graphics are outstanding nothing comes close to them on the DS. They also have a differnet team than the console ones so it doesn't effext Zelda Wii's devlopment time.
Zelda Wiis been in devolpment since 05 and will likely release in NA in the first half of 2011

No. They are made to sell DS units. Nintendo has two different Zelda teams. One works on the handheld games and the other works on the console games.
Ok thanks all of you for your input. I think that the zelda games for the ds are good it was only thier graphics but as Cruse34 said it probably is best or near best for a ds game. I didn't know when they started working on it I was just guessing. I think the Zelda games on the ds are good too but that the bad graphics just might make some turn away. Anyways still a good game plenty of challenges and humor and I'm sure the one coming is going to be the best yet.
