I would strongly depise any RTS to come out on the Wii since Age of Empires II (one of my favorite RTS) did not feel right on the DS. Its not about the ingenuity about motion sensing controls or the touch pad with a stylus, its about micromanagement which is done at best with keyboard+mouse. Any RTS should stick to the PC. Period.
you could make it work... maybe wwii will come out with keyboard/mousetantalus4
There is also another definite advantage on playing on high definition monitors over 480p since you gain more vision of the battlefield, and now even more since Supremem Commander utilizes two screens at once.Â
AoEII on DS was not an RTS though.I would strongly depise any RTS to come out on the Wii since Age of Empires II (one of my favorite RTS) did not feel right on the DS. Sorry for making an incorrect assumption there. But anything ouside of an RTS, I could see a game from the Command & Conquer universe go on to consoles. Last time that happened, C&C Renegade, it did not turn out too great.

C&C on the N64 was great! i think something along these lines is bound to happen. I agree that its not suited to a standard controller, but the Wii is different and we will only know if they try it!

To play single player missions against the AI, anything would work since you can get away with things. The reason I like the single player campaign on C&C3 is that the storyline is great and the cutscenes are the best I have seen in any game.
But for online play, the FPS and RTS genre are the most competitive out there, and I was thinking along those lines since I used to play somewhat competitively on Battle.net (Warcraft III) and Microsoft Zone (Age of Empires 2).. We all know that micromanaging is the key thing that seperates great players from the good players, and the best way to achieve that is through keyboard and mouse. An above average player must have around 500 productive actions per minute, I see it hard to do that with the Wii Remote and a gamepad.
