It's just the likes of Halo 1 put this game to shame, and The Conduit has 8 years over that game, let alone the bench mark set by today's FPS genre.

But I must say that the Wii is lacking in this genre so I have to give it some credit, so I guess to those who only have a Wii... Get CoD first :P WaW then MW Reflex, THEN The Conduit. I'm not sure about Medal of Honour Heroes 2, I haven't played it, but so far, in my opinion, CoD WaW is the leading FPS on the Wii (possibly going to be taken by MW Reflex). These games are ok FPSers. So for The Conduit 2to compete with these, it should try to be a bit more artistic (I don't want to walk around in a bland room/corridor), have have a better online, and most of all, change the ****in which it controls (I don't mean actual controls, they're good)... I can't really explain it, but when you play online, it feels terribly unskillful. The CoD games you have to hide and seek, use your scope etc. With TC, it felt so.. Run and gunny? I dunno, hard to explain. It just felt really different in a bad way.

I think all in all, it was the way it felt and the bland enviroment that put me off. So I'd like TC2 tochange this. OR, if it doesn't change these paticular things, it'll need to change its st_yle completely, after all, it is a cliche title, and if it wants to go down that path, its gotta do it well, just like how Halo did it (as it is also was really cliche game, but it was a quality cliche game).

I voted yes, but only if Sega thinks they can make a better one then the original. I have yet to play it (but I really hope I do), and have checked out reviews (I think GS gave it a 7.5) and it seems like it didn't live up to it's hype. So, yeah, only if Sega is confident.

Yes! I absolutely love The Conduit. It gets a bad wrap but that's something that just seems to happen. I play it everyday online and have beaten the campaign three times. Things they should change:

- Longer campaign with a better narrative.

- On and offline co op for the campaign.

- Eliminate the voting system for online matches.

- The maps in The Conduit are great. They need more of them.

- The controls obviously should stay the same

- Also I would love it if the game took us somewhere in space. I think they could move story setpieces to a Drudge space station or even their home plane and make for some sick gunfights!

Obviously I love the first game. But I can also see why some people complain and where they could improve. While The Conduit is far from the disaster Red Steel 1 was, I think it could benefit from a Red Steel 2-type of makeover :)

That would be nice.

Same controls, voice chat to everyone, and FASTER LOADING.

I would get it for that alone.

Edit: Oh yeah, and no voting.

I own the conduit since opening day and i played it for a very long time but here is what they need to do

have vehicles (come on halo 1 has vehicles)

actually have a decent amount of weapon choice

non linear online maps (every place was a square, plz correct me if im wrong)

no voting have a class system

actually have leaderboards

have a online updater thing like they are doing in MWR (thats the only credit i am going to give to that game, plz dont buy it)

deeper character creation (lets have a female option)

get rid of friend codes (if GH5 can do it so can they)

DLC

a lobby like most EA games have on wii

and thats about it for now

plz add more

"actually have a decent amount of weapon choice" - Twelve weapons across three classes (five human, three Trust, four Drudge) and thee types of grenades doesn't even count as decent to you? Forgive me for not believing you. Any shooter that has more than that, which is the minority, certainly wouldn't have a significantly higher number of weapons. Three of four maybe.

"non linear online maps (every place was a square, plz correct me if im wrong)" - You're wrong. lol. The Streets is a square map. None of the others are (see; Bunkr, Warehouse, Complex, Pentagon). Keep in mind I love the maps in the game. But I do agree at least that they should have even more because they're so good :)

"have a online updater thing like they are doing in MWR (thats the only credit i am going to give to that game, plz dont buy it)" - Reflex will be one of the best shooters of this entire generation as the original already is and the sequel will be. It will be better than The Conduit and most shooters on the 360 and I'm picking up my preordered copy tomorrow at midnight and playing this amazing title for months! And....it will be glorious. I feel sad for you. That you wan't let this amazing title into your life. I will shed a tear at your funeral for your loss :P

No. Quality games take more than a year to develop. I'd be more interested in seeing what they can do in 2011.

id love to have the conduit 2. Conduit 1 had poential, but HVS is new to this whole hardcore thing. lastime i checked they worked on billy and mandy lol. but still they have potential. they have shown that they care enough to try to support the wii with a propietary engine. even though the game didn turn out as most expected the company has potential & if they learn from their mistakes they can make a great sequel. This is also the case with Redsteel. Redsteel had some impressive tech behind it. It had bumpmaps, reflection, refraction, emulated soft particles, realtime shadows, and even lightrays that actually reacted to object depth, shape etc. It wasn't one of those rectangle meshes with an animated opaque map to give the illusion of light rays. It was actual volumetric light rays. The tech in the game was impressive, BUT it was a rushed effort & the game ended up very unpolished, It still is apprent though that the engine was very advanced and Redsteel could have gotten a 8.0 or higher if Nintendo gave Ubi 2 or 3 months. i actually blame Redsteels failure on Nintendo for rushing the release. The game was very fun despite its unussaul visuals & i still play it today. Both the Conduit and Redsteel had potential, but somewhere along the lines something went wrong. Ubi is showing that they have learned from their mistakes so lets hope HVS can do the same. Btw i would love to see Counter strike Wii lol. imagine all the hackers playing the game lol.

I'd pretty much agree. As much as I'd want The Conduit 2 next year just so I don't have to wait very long, I would expect them to take longe to make the game. Especially give they're working on two other titles right now. I can wait. And until then I'll just play The Grinder, Modern Warfare Reflex and The Conduit :D

No, I would not want to see this game come out in 2010. HVS has potential to be a great developer, but they definitely missed the mark with The Conduit. They talked big, but the end product fell short of expectations. Claiming to have the best shooter on the Wii isn't really an accomplishment, seeing as there are probably three other FPS games on the system, lol. I think that they should work on it through 2010 and release it in 2011 mainly because 2010 has huge competition, especially with games such as Monster Hunter 3, Red Steel 2, all of the Nintendo exclusives, etc. The Conduit 2 would probably be overshadowed with all of those titles.

by the end of the year maybe. If its polished. Conduit had a lot of potential, and they had everything set up, they had the actors, the graphics, but they didnt get the idea right. I read uncharted developers (naughty dog) decided to add different characters to interact with nathan to give the story a more interactive and meaningful sense. HVS missed the interview apparently, Ford never interacts, just moves and shoots for every level , talking his invisible commander OR later, friend, never finds survivors or soldiers(once a helicopter flies away thats it). Is so dry and empty. Also level design was very linear,simple...The graphics were missused, the story almost got there but missed everytime.Im just thinking HVS could simply fix all those issues with good writers, AND artists and get a fantastic game going, they dont have to spend much in graphical development or sound, which worked flawlessly, so they could save themselves a lot of time. The only graphical requirements it might need are i think, already being polished in The grinder. So again, they need to focus on the gameplay all the way this time. They were halfway there the first time.

Well, The Conduit better sell more copies for HVS to make a sequel. The Conduit was a big step in the right direction, despite some few flaws. They would have to improve it and learn from their mistakes.

Heck Yes!!!! Especially seeing what Ubisoft did with the upgrade of Red Steel 2 (And I liked Red Steel 1). I'm sure HVS will learn from their mistakes and make The Conduit 2 simply Awe-inspirational.

Conduit is a decent game made by a nobody company with no money backing them. They made one of the best FPS on Wii....i know that isnt saying a lot, but if they can put effort into making a Wii exclusive, then why cant the big 3rd party devs(EA, Activision, Capcom). I hope we see more conduit...the game left it open, and there is plenty of room for improvement. I cant wait for Grinder. HVS still has to prove themselves, but Conduit is a fun game despite some flaws. It just feels like your playing Perfect Halotriod.

How is that too harsh when 95% of the games they've made are bad? I haven't played The Grinder or Gladiator A.D., correct. Did I say I have? However, I said that "I think I don't want any other game made by HVS", since they're bad developers, and I doubt they'll suddenly know how to make a game I can enjoy when they've only been making pure crap in the past.

Those are some good ideas.I haven't played the first game yet,so I can't say too much, but I can't wait to play it.
