Ways to improve sequel:
- Fire everyone on that team
- Hire new game development staff who ACTUALLY have talent and can come up with interesting ideas
Here's to hoping they pull a Killzone, and turn a bad game into a good sequel.

It would be nice but I don't see it happening
The High Voltage studio expected hype to get them out of the licensed game business. Instead poor reviews and poor sales have determined that that Astro Boy wont be the last tie in they do in the future.
The problem is what can they build on? Nothing in the last game was revolutionary so making any part of that better still gives you a run of the mill at best product.
Jordan has brought this up a few times and I agree. I just don't think that High Voltage knows how to make a great game. Their job is to take a licensed property and make something playable. They just don't have the talent to make a game that's great from scratch.
This, and keep their mouths shut until the game is actually good instead of when they think it's good...Ways to improve sequel:

Ya i thought the online was good... just kinda laggish.... There cud have been more interesting maps too.... and has an annoying glitch.... maybe not sooo great..
meh....... not to excited for the sequel since i beat the first one in like 2 days and it wasn't that good........
[QUOTE="MonsieurX"]Yay,another year of bragging about how awesome their game will beVexx88Yeah how the controls will be great but everything else will be bland...in terms of the HUGH standard for shooters have to set now a days. I can't believe how many people were excited about the Conduit. It's like when the first RTS games were coming to the current gen consoles. If all developers ever say for two years is, we are really working on having excellent controls, while never showing or telling us about why the game is good, then the game probably isn't worth all that much interest.

I've been trying to play through it on severe, and I have to say, it's pwning me a lot.
I don't think that's a fair assessment. The game had some great technical effects. The quantum 3 engine guysshould stay yes?Ways to improve sequel:

So long as they show a committment to providing a good online experience, I think they will have an audience, I'm just hoping they go the way of Ubisoft and completely scrap the game, and make the second one a fresh start.
And about the Quantum 3... I would love to see them just work on upgrading the engine and license it out to people.. I would love to see Bethesda get ahold of it and make an Elder Scrolls Wii...

The ending was a fantastic cliffhanger--MathMattSAre you serious? It was even worse than Halo 2's ending, and that's one of the worst. Talk about making half a game and rolling the credits right before the climax..... There wasn't even a final battle of any sort. And that final action that was supposed to be badass just made me laugh out loud. Sorry, but the ending was just terrible. The whole game should've started there. It's like the entire thing was filler, but you never actually get to the good part.
well it sold well
how did it sell well?
SEGA shipped 150k, sold about 150k in one month in NA
so they only took 30 days to sell 100% of their initial stock
they have to be thrilled with the 10 million plus $ they made off of it

That's actually not bad, considering they surely didn't have a huge budget on the game in the first place.. MAYBE.. with extra money and the engine mostly finished, they can concentrate on making a good single player in the second game.. that's as much optimism as your going to get out of a Vicodin riddled conduit hater:P

Gotta agree, there wasn't really any big boss battle...I was expecting big boss battle ..then credit rolls...my reaction "Huh? wtf?.. that's the end??..."
