so im a ps3 and 360 owner, and thats good, but my heart wants a wii. I was A SUPER nintendo fans, i owned the super nintendo, nintendo 64 and the gamecube. I LOVE the zelda franchise, i LOVE the mario franchise. And after just playing serius bloody gore games on the xbox and ps3 i want a change for once. I cant explain it but when im playinhg mario and zelda i get a wierd feeling, like i go back in time when gaming was just about having fun.

And ive heard many complains about wii lacking games, but if i get a wii i have a great list: mario galaxy, twilight princess, mario kart wii, brawl, resident evil 4 wiimake never played it, metroid prime 3, and of course old classics, such as ocarina of time, mario 64, and so on. I had a blast with mario kart wii at my friends, and it were surprisingly good, and the online were fantastic.

I don't really think there is a shortage of great games on the Wii, you've listed a bunch of strong 1st party games, but there are other great titles from 3rd party devs like de Blob, No More Heroes, MadWorld, Deadly Creatures, Zack and Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles, and several others. The thing I like the most about the Wii is the sheer fact that it DOESN'T get mainstream games. The Wii is veritible holy ground for unique and experimental games.

you my friend sound like you need a wii console in your library. plus, it wouldn't hurt if you have all three systems since you can get all the goodies from each system. oh yeah, since you're behind on the wii, there are already a lot of good titles on it already, and 09 is going to be a great year for the wii since it seems like a lot of 3rd parties are stepping up their games. have fun!

In that case get one. The list of games you have there are great. There are others I enjoy as well and there's a long list of great games coming out this year. Additionally if you're a longtime Nintendo/Sega fan there's the ability to play any gamecube game and the whole virtual consol/wiiware at your fingertips.

Wii fans in particular seem to have some sort of inferiority complex. If a new game doesn't come out every week, they start complaining that the Wii has no games. Look at last year. Nintendo started had a lot of killer games in a year span: Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Kart, and some others. But this was quickly forgotten because the second half of last year was not very good. There ARE good games...people just beat them and a day later are already asking "WHAT'S NEXT???? WHERE AR ETH EGOOD GAMES??".

Sounds like you should have gotten a Wii already.:P It's a great system and there are countless classics for your downloading pleasure. Plus plenty of games you haven't(most likely) played before like Sin&Punishment.

My normal response to people wondering about the Wii is pretty much what you say in the second paragraph of your post. As you say the Wii has a very strong first party line up. And if you havn't played Resident Evil 4 the way to play it is on the wii. The Virtual Counsol is alot of fun, especially if you skipped over one of the systems (I never got a super nintendo). And there will be more good games to come, if you get bored with all those games after a while you'll still have 2 other sistems to keep you busy until the next big Wii game comes out. I would say go for it. And it seems like you could afford it too.

tnx for the responds guys, i think i will go for a wii, its to hard to resist, and it got my favorite gaming series ever zelda. The thing about the wii is that it gives me this good feeling, pure happynes. I never get that feeling playing ps3 or 360.. Maybe the 360 and ps3 has more to offer in terms of game releases, but no game has the same epicness as a zelda or mario game. And the wii also has the best library of classic games. Yeah i will definitly go for a wii, and i will probably get mario galaxy and twilight princess first, after that i will get brawl and mario kart wii and do some online and battle some friends:)

^There you go. It seems as though you've already figured out what kind of games you want for the Wii, so if you ask me, you're good to go. My advice to anyone that is considering a new game system is to already have a feel for what games you want to get before buying one. If you're open-minded and don't mind trying something different, I'm sure you will also be able to find other games, as well. In any case, I wish you the best of luck. :)

I think you'll be happy with your Wii. If you're after a different experience, you should check out the Wii Fit for the balance board too. Games like Skate It and Shaun white are a blast on the balance board, though not really worth playing without it. More and more games are using the balance board too so it could be a good investment for you.

Good for you! A little bit of warning though. Prepare yourself for Twilight Princess to take a crap load of your time! The game is long as hell, but it sustains through :)

It's sounds like you'd enjoy the Wii a lot. I'm not sure what's holding you back from buying one. It's seems like you are worried just because others (that don't even own the console) are telling you bad things. Ignore them.

Sounds like you need a Wii! It will be good to be a PSWii60 owner, so you never miss a beat. :)

You already know you want a Wii & the related games. Now it's time to ask to your pocket/bank account/piggy bank. Are you financially ready for a Wii & a good doze of the great games it already has? If the answer to that question is yes, then you're ready to acquire a Wii plus some good games for it.
