I love the Wii. Everyone can afford it and have a great time with it. It's powerful as Giga Bowser and innovative as Dr E.Gadd. I think that everyone here would agree if I say that Nintendo made a great job putting the Wii together.

But think, just for a moment, that you are in charge for the R&D team, what would you "wiido" if you got the chance developing the Wii over again?

Maybe you would build better speakers for the Wiimote or include support for a whopping 1080p? Why not add a massive HDD or DVD possibility? Maybe you like it as it is with it's low price that everyone can afford, stylish appealing designs and innovative controllers?

Probably bigger memory this is my reason why. 1. The wii speaker works fine i think. 2. HDTV with a component cable has great graphics even if there not up to PS3/360 standards graphics arn't everything 3. DVD you can pick one up for about £20 and a firmware update could make the wii have dvd playback. ^^

I don't think there's any doubt that the biggest problem the Wii is going to face is storage space. If you fill up your channel slots you're almost completely out of space and you have to start deleting things or transferring it to an SD card. You have to delete VC games and re-download them because you'll have no room for anything new. One of the first things Nintendo will need to do, IN MY OPINION, is to add hard drive functionality. Whether it's upgrading the ability to use the SD card as space or adding the ability to use USB drives as playable storage, it will be an issue, probably in the near future.

Leet piracy, of course! Finding out a way to get non-Ninty emulators on there so you can get your VC games free. (P.S. I didn't say that.)

Well, the Wii is supposed to be getting a "Wii Game Demo Channel" soon, so...

If anyone picked 80 gig HDD they're insane. You could download every update, every VC game and have a save file for every Wii game ever but not fill half of that space

lol that's awesome! My only complaint would be the HDTV. Many people are frustrated with that. I personally don't mind, but as long as Nintendo fans are happy I'm happy. As for the DVD thing, I already have about 3 DVD players in my house, so I wouldn't need another.

There should be a bigger HDD drive, and the ability to play DVD's would be nice.

I think I would give it more memory capacity, graphics could be better but are already pretty good, I can see why they were going to call it the Revolution because it is Revolutionary!

250 dollars, 50 dollar games and a 40 dollar wii remote.  Thats perfect, we dont need to jack up the price anymore by adding extra stuff.  80 gig hard drive?  Like that would ever get filled up. LOL

I voted for the 80 gig hard drive because I want to be able to download games for Sega Saturn, Neo Geo, Mega Drive, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, etc. And no, 512 mb is not enough for all the games that are currently out or will come out for the system. If you consider that N64 games are about 32 MB each, you can only store about 15 games or so. With more memory, the Wii can have more options like a very viable demo channel and extra consoles like the ones I listed above. 80 gigs is a lot though, and perhaps too much, but I don't mind having the extra space since it seems I never have enough hard drive space on my PC.

Hard drive will probably be a problem in the future. 80 gigs is too much IMO. but even 10-20 gigs would have been fine
