Not as bad as Ubisoft's launch title GT Pro Series. The Wii seems to be a dumping ground for bad games like this.

Shame on you Midway. Cruis'n on N64 was great but it's not N64 days today.

No Cruis'n on the N64 was horrible. It had the worst popup I've EVER seen in a game. Redwood forest would literally appear when I was 3 feet in front of it lol. This one on Wii looks no better. The franchise should of died when they made the first one.

Why are they still making games like that? They should have learned their lesson during the first months of the Wii when many companies made games for the Wii with horrible graphics and crappy controls. It has been almost a year since the Wii's launch and most companies are starting to get used to the Wii and they are making games much better every day. So I think they are going back...

Somehow, these screens look like GOW compared to the FIRST screenshots they showed of the game. Holy crap those were not even N64 quality.

Doesn't look bad at all. The cars look bad, especially in the last pic but overall it looks ok. It looks better than GT Pro Series (If you look at the roads grass and some objects)which also wasn't that bad. I'll probably get flamed or whatever for saying that it looks good but I'm serious so...bleh

The only reasonable marketing reason I can think of for this abomination is that the devs/publisher is trying to appeal to the older crowd who may feel nostalgic about this game.

Are you sure it isn't announcing Cruis'n for virtual console? :cry:

It could just be REALLY early in development, like when animators make preliminary sketches of the entire movie, and step it up gradually, eventually making flipbooks of the entire movie, and then 3D models, etc? Maybe? I hope?
