Hey all. I was wondering if anyone with glasses or other eye problems have any issues seeing the 3D effects. I have weird vision where one eye is nearsighted and the other is fine.

I have one eye that is more nearsighted than the other, so i have trouble seeing the 3D too. However, it was weird, months ago, i think the same day i bought my 3DS, this guy let me try out his 3DS, and i think i was able to see the 3D fine. Now, I can see the 3D somewhat, but when i tilt it to the right, because my head is somewhat tilted naturally that way.

Do you have glasses or contacts? If yes, you should be able to see the 3D just fine. If not, it's hard to say.

I do, but the thing is that I notice that my right eye doesn't line up correctly, maybe lazy eye. And thats what worries me.

Ohh...I see. Yeah, if your eye is a bit lazy, you may have trouble seeing the 3D image. :/ Well, the best thing to do is to go to your local game store or Best Buy and try one out. At least some place around you should have it on display to play with.

I'm a bit worried about the issue in this thread...will I become a ...basislisk? No, really, are there long-term issues with the 3D effects? I love the 3D effect, but they tire my eyes rapidly...

No nothing will happen to your eyes, for some people the effect can be too much to handle after a bit. SO just take a break from the 3D for a while.

the 3D effect can differ greatly from game to game. Also, I've actually gotten better at seeing the 3D effect over time. (one of my eyes is more far sighted)
