New Modded Consoles Seem to Be the latest trend in gaming. So, 'Riddle Me This Batman', what do you think ofcustomizing consoles with skins/graphics/ and other affects? Post any modded consoles you may happen to find. There was a gret display of customized 360's in the Sept. issue ofOfficial Xbox Magazine.I personally like them, as it shows are creative side to a otherwise bland system. Not much you can do to a PS3 (someone will make me look idiotic in a future post about that comment), but 360 and Wii are perfect canvases for an artistic expression. I'm all for customized systems and mods, as long as they are appelaing and attractive, but I dont like it when people screw over their console and make it look like filth.
I've found when it comes to these things that many of the people who do it have "questionable" taste.

Quite true. I personally think that in the right hands, these systems can be works of art. Other just turn out to be like a graffitied up barn. Trash, but others can do prety amazing things given time and determination.
I dont mind customizing the skin of a console. Some people did awesome things with their wii (the metroid wii is a good exemple).
I wont ever mod my wii for a few reason:
-I like to support nintendo
-mod and online dont go together well
-I dont want to break my wii
So far, my only console I've ever considered modding was a ps2, mainly for guitar hero custom song. I didnt do it since my guitar broke and i'm a little short on money with all the upcomming wii games.
I don't mind customized consoles. Heck, my GameCube was customized. I made a Link drawing and I put it on the circle with some Zelda stickers around the console.
i don't put drawings or stickers on my consoles because later i might have to sell it to buy the new console. thats how i was able to buy the wii(by selling my gamecube) i might put skins but not drawings/stickers

Same.. the point of the wii is to be simple and white and sexy... so i'm not ogint o clutter it up. The only mod i woudln't mind is a perfect NES console skin for Wii. but at this point, its not worth it.
