this time i actually agree with you one set of pokemon games lasts for like 3 years and after 2 of the start they release the 3rd one like first they made ruby saphire then 2 years later emerald itll be the sam for d/p
i don't own pearl or diamond, but my brother does. it seems alright. i have no current plans to get either, but i might look into the 3rd in the trio if i like the improvements.
Where is the: "Why the hell are you still playing Pokemon if you're not in 7th grade?" option. I understand that this is blatantly offensive to Pokemon fans, but I have no idea what you see in it. Would someone be so glad as to inform me?
The game is deeper and more interesting than it looks from the outside in, particularly as it tries to appeal to ten year old kids and the kind of people who play M:TG at the same time. And everyone else while they're at it.
Nah, I can wait for another pokemon game, and I'm especially willing to wait if they do something significantly new with the franchise(ie. I want them to take their time and make it excellent).
I would say I'm not ready; still haven't done everything in Pearl, and I've got a ton of DS games to play while I wait (check my sig). I think we'll see the end of the current trilogy before a new era or the oh-so-awesome Gold / Silver remake. My guess is... Pokemon Onyx, early 2009 :)

I'm just saying that I would love to hear some news about the next Pokegame so I can start being hyped.

:shock: That is insane! Man do I need to catch up :?, I only have 2, and my friend has eleven including one of my favorate DS games Hotel Dusk. As for poke'mon, It is just too addicting for me so I put the franchise to rest :(.

Realistically, i wouldn't be surprized from a Pokemon Platinum being the 3rd tier of DP. only problem is the D/P/P abbrev. it woudl cause. But still i think it would be a good name.

pokemon games are fun just trie them I am a sophmore in high schoole and I still play them and I know that may people in there 20's still play them.
and demotruk, how can you compare pokemon to Magic? i don't see any connections. drummer131
The games are only loosely similar, but the kind of people who play Pokemon competitively seem to be the same kind of people who play M:TG competitively, from my experience. Smogon is full of magic players.
already? the next pokemon will be released probably next year, the third from pkmn D/P series, and as usual, im not buying it. 1 game per generation, thats my rule
waiting NOW? not even one year has passed since the last one came and ur waiting?.. it takes years for a sequel.but yeah im obviously looking forward to it.
I am not ready for the next game in the trilogy but it will take a couple of years like maybe 2 or 3 years in order to see another game. Ihad the game and it was better than the gba games with the online play and trading pokemon from the gba games.
well when it comes out I'll be ready for it, but until then I sstill have things to do in the one that just came out... like lvling and such so then I can move them to the next.
Being a european gamer i have to say... hold your horses! It was released just arround one month ago.. and you want the next one? i've hardly had time to get through the first.
I'm currently waiting for the third version of D/P to come out. So far the most likely name for it that I have heard is Pokemon Opal, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to catch both Palkia and Dialga, just like in Emerald you could catch Groudon and Kyogre.
I would like to see a Gold/Sliver/Crystal remake. Or maybe something brand new where you can journey to all of the locations (ie start in kanto, beat the elite 4, go to johto ect through each one) That would be fun. I really dont see the point of making a 3 game in Sinnoh. Unlike the previous games for GBA where it may be difficult to get all of the pokemon, it is easy to get them with Wifi and the GTS. There is never anything amazing added to the 3rd on. They would make somthing spectacular in the game for it to be worth buying
If they release a third for D/P I might buy it, depending on what new content they have in it. But otherwise Ill just wait for next generation. But what we all want is a remake of the G/S/C, I know I do for sure.
