Sup Gamespot members! just wanna spread the word that the member card (Needed to get darkrai) will be available via Wi-Fi August 3rd - September 13

Could someone explain to me how to get the card and what is required? Can't seem to find the information I need and that site is loading for me :( Do you just go online and it pops up in your backpack? o.O

Note I'm assuming you have already captured cresselia (or at least made it start running around sinnoh), and that you have the mystery gifts option already. You need mystery gifts. Go to receive Mystery Gifts over Wi-Fi starting August 3rd, then you'll get the card in your game. Talk to the delivery man in the pokemon center to get the card as a key item in your bag. From there go to the ferry at harbor inn (in canalave) it will bring you to newmoon island (since you have the membership card), where darkrai will be sitting waiting for a battle. I'd obvious suggest saving infront of him to avoid killing him accidentally.

Ahh through mystery gifts :lol: Darn I've been missing a lot in Platinum, I haven't gotten far into the game yet :P Dunno why I stopped playing to be honest. It seems I missed the Secret Key for Rotom :cry: Oh well, thanks Hegna.

No problem. Just remember that you have to make cresselia start running around sinnoh before you can use the card to get to darkrai.

Yup you can get the card without doing the small cresselia thing, then just hold onto it till you're done. Or at least it seems like that from what the site said.
