I got these two games fro christmas. I've finished The force Unleashed (waggle wasn't a huge issue until the last fight) and found that although the story is the shining point of this title, waggle causes it to generally fall short of my expectations. In most cases, I'd ignore combos and use chokepoints and lightning to decimate my foes.

However, De Blob has seen a minimal amount of gameplay and has left me more excited about the Wii than I've been in a while. Quirky story and easy to pick up but very enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing. Great platformer. Difficulty scales well for beginners and completionists alike without changing the game at all.

The part that I like the most is the sound. Much like Chroma is a blank canvas...the track is created as you play. It fun to meander and enjoy the subtle sounds and equally as fun to go nuts to a dynamic soundtrack that is as energized as you are.

Don't let De Blob pass you by if you are n the fence.

(I may be late with this post...but better late than never)

i enjoyed deBlob. It was short, but it was alot of fun. I think that Force unleashed only real problem was the waggle. IMO it would have been better if they went with something like No More Hereos sword play, part button mash, part motion. The force powers worked really well. The game was too short, and i wish you could just replay a level whenevery you wanted, like Rogue Sqaurdon games.

I liked the Force Unleashed way more on the Wii than I did on the PS3. I played through it 3 times on Wii where I could barely bring myself to finish it once on the PS3. I only did so to show my friend the awesome story.

de Blob is a great game. When the city is full of color and the music is playing you can't help but tap your feet to the beat.

I totally agree with you. I recently played DeBlob and it is really a unique game with a great soundtrack which really let feel like you're composing I also hope more people notices it and buy it, because we need to send a message, a very positive one when the developers take the time for something so polished. Regards

Are you guys 10 years old?! you go around painting a city in de Blob!

Now I have played both games. the saber locks and force locks are annoying. But the fighting and force powers rock. The last boss, the emporer, is very challenging, but that makes it fun. It is part button mashing, part motion. Like one force power, detonate, makes you to press c button, then force push the enemy by pushing the nunchuck forward. But de Blob? Seriously? What is this gaming world coming to? All Im saying is to give The Force Unleashed a try. Play though it a few more times. I've played through it 2 1/2 times, once both lightside and darkside. I've gotten all the hilts and crystals (which I will be posting a guide for). But what is so great about de Blob? The Focre Unleashed also has a great soundtrack

The force unleashed was not that bad, I completed the game using only the power of the force :P

I liked the force unleashed more. Most wii games are very simple as far as control goes but TFU although many of the gestures needed work gave you a lot of control. The most options ive seen in a wii game so far. It felt like every possible gesture/button combination was used and it gave you a lot of control over the char and how you chose to dispose of your enemies. deBlob's gameplay is bland. It takes the boring, simple gameplay of jump around and touch lots of stuff in a little time and pops it into a fresh fun looking charming world. If the levels werent 25minutes long the game would be fun...but after painting the down with colors and music for 10 minutes i get pretty bored...and its not like No More Heroes were the story and dialog compel you to play thru the monotony

The Force Unleashed is great and all, but just cause you paint a city in De Blob doesn't mean it's only for 10 year olds. My cousin has both those games, and when I went to his house, I had a blast playing both of them.

DeBlob looks cool, and so does Force Unleashed for Wii. Those might be the next two games I pick up!

SW:TFU was passable. That's not saying a lot though. The story was the really the only thing really worth mentioning or even remembering in this title.

Why does someone need to be young in order to enjoy a game that doesnt involve Violence. i like the Story in De Blob, its very unique. the whole game is something very unique. kudos to them to think outside of the box. its an all around fun game!

I still need to purchase De blob. I've tried it and it's great! I just have no money currently so i can't purchase it so i'll just keep playing it at my friends.
