Does any one have and play de blob. It looks like a fun game, and am wondering if its worth buying.

I must say that De Blob was my personal oty for 2008. I mean of all platforms. I own and love the hell out of that game. It's a very refreshing gaming experience in that it is purely a "game" in sense that many others today are not. Very pretty, TONSSSSSS to do, and a unique mechanic. I emplore to play this masterpiece bro!
Oh man! I paid $40 for this game, and it was well worth it. There were new copies at my local Wal Mart today for $20. It's almost a steal. This is about the best 3rd party wii exclusive title I've ever played on the wii. Go get it!wiifan001
Truth be told! Glad to hear you say that about this game :)
I paid $50 day one and never looked back.
I have it. It's very stylish and a lot of fun. If I had any complaints, its that the mission sytem and timer were just not needed and there are a lot of great ideas that simply have not met their fullest potential.
It's a really cool and great game, it just feels like they could had done more.
As most others have said, yes, de blob is a great game. I picked it up just a couple months back and think it is a ton of fun. Very fun graphic style and sense of humor. And, completing some of the missions can be a challenge.
great value game, and one of the better games overall for the wii at any price.

Me too. Honestly, just adding more stuff to do and dropping the missions would make the game great. The missions felt really unnecessary. I don't need to talk to a guy and be timed to kill enemies for bonus points. I should just kill whoever I want and discover the bonus points on my own. I don't need to be timed and told to paint in patterns, I should just paint in any pattern I want and get bonuses. I don't need to be timed and told to go to a building and use the shaker, I can see it and I can do it myself. Every time the game gave me a mission, it interrupted my fun. For a game all about free expression, they told you what to do the whole game.
Tutorial missions are fine for the first stage, but after that they need to shut up and just let me play.
I can't believe nobody's mentioned the music. It has one of the best soundtracks of any game I've heard in a long time (athough more songs would have been welcome).
I actually bought a record (yes, it's a record) off of eBay that was made for the staff of the game (why one of them would sell it is beyond me, but whatever), so only a couple hundred were pressed.
It's a great album and I'm glad I got it.
decent game, but as others have mentioned it's very repetitive. by the end the levels feel the same. it's fairly easy. but why oh why are there no mid-level save points? be prepared to have an hour or more to sit down and play, once you start a level you must finish it.teknic1200
Yeah, no kidding dude. What was up with that? Levels have NO check points and are almost an HOUR LONG!!!

Sure they did. They had like 3-4 checkpoints in each level. If Blob died due to ink then the game and you have an extra life, the game puts Blob in the last checkpoint and the time starts over at 5:00.[QUOTE="goblaa"][QUOTE="teknic1200"]decent game, but as others have mentioned it's very repetitive. by the end the levels feel the same. it's fairly easy. but why oh why are there no mid-level save points? be prepared to have an hour or more to sit down and play, once you start a level you must finish it.wiifan001
