I dunno if I should replace it, because I already put screen protectors on it and in the NERF case, which I dunno how to remove it from! Yeah, or is there another way to remove the dead pixel from the screen, like an LCD cleaner? Plz help me...oh, and also, I just got NSMB, and its a lot of fun, but do you think I should trade it in and get NFS Carbon or resident Evil?Ok, THANKS!!!:)

Trade it in. You payed for something that should function the way it's supposed to. Nintendo will most likely replace it for free. And keep NSMB.

Don't send it Nintendo just bring it back to the store and ask for a new one.

As for the screen guards if they're the Hori brand they should come right off once you get underneath a corner. If they're not Hori then you don't want them anyhow and grab so Hori ones.

The Nerf case isn't bad to take off. Just pop the tabs where it folds and slide the top off then pop out the bottom piece. (you have the best case on the market, good deals)

Stores will sometimes be more hassle. Nintendo will replace the DS lite for free since a dead pixel is something they do replacements for. You can do an advanced replacement which means they put your credit card info on hold then ship a DS lite and a box for you to put in the ds lite with a dead pixel in it. Reason for the credit card info is because well people use the program to get units from Nintendo since the stores don't have it.

Broken pixel they replace. Otherwise they repair and if it breaks due to something in the system they replace the DS. Often times they may throw in something for your troubles.

Nintendo, usually if the system totaly borke, like the body, they repair it, and if it just pixels, they replace it. Also try this techinque i heard from some dude before. first turn off ur ds, then try to press the stuck pixels as hard as u can(don't push it to hard or u'll break the ds) then just turn on ur ds. Try do it like 5 times, only do it once usually won't work. or just return it to store, just said u didn't like it, and buy a new one. XD

I think that is due to the characteristic of the LCD screen. Some dots may stay on or off, but it's not a defect. I think I read this in my Lite's box.
