Details about Archaic Sealed Heat RPG

I have not heard much about this game by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, but from what I can see, it is going to be really interesting, with a more mature feel than we have seen yet on the DS. Can't wait.

Haven't been following the news have you? Quite a few sites have loads of info and whenever a new magazine in Japan details more of it with screenshots, character art those sites post the screens.

ASH btw is the first DS game to use the new 2gb carts meaning it has a lot of content.

Has anybody actually seen it being played? The pre-rendered idea sounds a little weird to me.

Im not sure about it, I like the strategy element, but the actual fighting looks stupid, with the upper screen being the enemies and the lower being the characters. The attacking looks really...not good, especially the magic attacks (small rock hits enemy wow). I want a fire emblem, not some FF strategy copycat. Sure it has good graphics, but Id rather have an all strategy game like FFTA2 or Luminous Arc 2. (My opinion)

Pre-rendered games usually work out pretty well. I'm holding out hope for this game, and I want to see a U.S. release.
