I have it and I play it occassionally. Its a great game, but honestly I cant get into it. I'd rather play other things, but I appreciate how well done it is and the quality it brings to the Wii library. I bought it just to support the cause.
Well I thought it was fantastic. I would say that some ppl could find it rather easy it. There are some challenging planets but most of them are about figuring out what to do. That aside I find it at 60 stars still as fresh as when I started it. Oh and I'm usually playing at my 360. The wii is usually played by my son. I was intrigued by the hype and at least imo it is well deserved.
I liked super mario galaxy it was really fun. But I will say I liked Sunshine more. If it could use the wii-mote i would rank it my #1. just my opinion
Its fun and all but i got bored of it if i sat down and played i could beat it in a day but ever since my wii stopped reading Guitar hero i havent felt like gaming much -.-'
It's "alright." I mean, I recognize the merits of the game, but for whatever reason I can't sit down and play it for an extended period of time like others. I play it for about an hour and then go on to something else. I haven't touched it in weeks actually.
But unlike many people, I'm not going to rag the game because I personally haven't gotten into it the way others have. I'd just rather spend my gaming time with MLB Power Pros or Madden 08 at this point than SMG.
i dont think anyone really hated it, but alot of people (like myself) thought it was overrated. There were no medium difficulty stars, it was like 100 easy then 20 super hard. But the music was awesome so it makes up for it. I still liked sunshine better.
I bought it when it came out but I haven't really gotten into yet. I also bought a ps2 and heaps of ps2 games after I bought it so thats probably why I haven't been playing my Wii much.
eh certainly didn't hate it but i did kinda think it was over rated, and imho didn't really think it deserved game of the year. Flame away, i did really like this game i just thought it was definatly over rated, i mean its like second all time on gamerankings all time list, now i mean come on it was good and all but second best game since the beggining n64 and psone era? i dont think so.

I thought it was okay at best... but don't hurt me =(... and yeah I am serious but I also didn't not enjoy mario 64 as well and was suprised it had such a godly reputation.. I loved super mario world and super mario 3 though.. I guess I just liked it better back then when it was 2D and I don't really like 3D platformers in general so it had all the wrong combinations for me, personally.
