I went to Wal-mart and Kmart (the only places in town that sell video games) and neither had it. This really ticks me off seeing as I was really looking foward to getting it.
it might depend on certain stores shipment methods, specialty stores like BestBuy, Gamestop, etc will most certainly get games on their shipping date or the day after. Whereas other stores like Walmart may have em shipped with the majority of there merchandise for the week
It's probably because your local Wal-Mart is too lazy to put it out. I actually stopped shopping there because of this, when I tried to buy Pokemon Pearl there on launch day I actually had an argument with a manager who claimed it came out on the following Tuesday. Nintendo game on a Tuesday :lol:
I just left from Wally World and went to a record store and bought it there.
Yeah, screw them. Sorry you're stuck with only them to purchase your games from.
I'll have to try agin tommorrow after 3, the guy at the counter said that they get daily shipments. If its not in by the end of the week, I'll have to go to the nearest EB or Best Buy.
Walmart doesn't carry Scarface, Godfather, or Resident Evil 4 for the wii. I find target and amazon.com to have a better amount of wii games for sale.
Also people look in your phone books for the places besides gamestop that trade in games. You may be surprised to find they exist and will give you a better deal then gamestop would but if you don't patronize these places they cease existance and gamestop grows larger.
Couldn't find it at Wal-mart yesterday and didn't have a chance to hit EB Games. I'll probably find it later today or tomorrow as long as the game stores aren't selling out or anything.
gamestop had two extra copies over there preorders so i got mine today. the abilty to aim lightgun style realy adds to the game alot. and for some resone the game looks better than the GC version i had just played last night. the game looks clearer or sharper. not as blurry. strange
AHHHH!,, dang it our walmart doesn't have it today . Walmaret may have it tommorrow. I might go to an EB games later tonight, but its seems like too much driving for a game.

stopped at Eb games first, they had the game but for some reason couldn't find the case for it. so went to wal-mart they didn't have (i was very surprised) went around the mall for a bit, finally came back to ebgames the lady said it'll take 10 minutes for her to take it out of the box >=P waited for her to get it while playing big brain wii. finally got it, and it's a really scary game! T_T

Actually, I bout Godfather from my WalMart, and even though I got my RE4 from EBGames, my walmart had copies today...although, they weren't on display..they were laying on the bottom of the games where the wiis were.. along with Mario Party 8 and Fantastic 4 (neither of which were put out).. lazy asses.
Yes, it is sucess! My friend was at Walmart today and grabbed 2 copies as they were putting it on the shelf, 1 for him and 1 for me. I just have to pay him back when he brings it by. Sweet, I can't wait.
I had no problems, since I'm in a huge metropolitan area. I got back on Wednesday (6/20). I had some money left on a Toys R' Us gift card, and picked it up. I had just enough on the cardfor the $32 (after tax).
