Did I just buy a fake game?

Got this today, but when looking at the picture it has the same image on the cartridge as the front of the box. Also I can't see an official nintendo seal but that could just be due to the blurriness of the picture. IS THIS A FAKE?

I did pay for it since it was only 6.50. I am gonna try it and hope it isn't fake though.

Yea sorry to say but it looks fake to me too, like it was said before by an above poster they didn't even remove the spine or side of the box that says Gameboy advance out of the photo.

I have a legit store bought copy that I myself bought and the label is different from the one you bought on Ebay. It looks different from the one Bio-Spark posted as well.

Either way, its most definitely a fake.

But that's definitely a fake there. The cover art is all wrong. It's basically a squished version of the box art.

Take a look at any sticker on a legitimate GBA game, there's never the banner plastered across the left. It's fake, sorry.

I've wasted my money on stupider things. I wanted my hair to be blue, my cousin made it green,I had to redye it brown, and now I believe most of it is dead. And it was $30 not $6.50. So it could be worse lol. I'd still try to get a refund and report him though.

It may be very well be fake. But, it's also possible for game cartridges to have tear off original stickers. Especially common for the old NES games, due to age, rentals, careless children, & messes. ItCOULD just be a replacement sticker. But being the internet & scams quite common place, it's still fishy. Do as you want, but don't wait too long if you find the game doesn't please you, & you want to file a complaint & refund.

Sorry dude, your game is not very legitimate looking. I guess you got ripped off. I knew a user that once paid for "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2" for Dreamcast on eBay, and the seller sent him a CD-R with the game on it. Your game might me a rip off, a bootleg, or just a pirated copy. I hope it's just a pirated copy so you can at least enjoy the game you bought, the sticker on the cartridge shouldn't matter too much.

Give him negative feedback, he'll most likely give you a refund in exchange for changing your feedback. Then report him. Problem solved.

beat the game, then return it for a refund. unless you like the game and you want to cherish it forever

That user on ebay has been selling quite a few fake Mario Games by the looks of it none of these look official
