Just yesterday I went to my local Fryes to purchase the first Phoenix Wright as I played and loved the second one. Walking through the isles(sp?) I didnt see a copy. I seriously checked behind every game to make sure some sneaky a hole didnt hide it. Yet I didnt find it so I had to find a back up. I considred EBA or FF3. I mostly play my ds at night. Since Im reallly lazy I moslty wanted a touchscreen game so It wouldnt make alot of noise. So I choose EBA really because its an all touch game that and less noise at night. So after I went to my friends to show my game I got. Then I noticed he had FF3 and said to him I almost got that game but I wasnt a all touchscreen game. Then he proved me wrong thta it actually was a touchscreen game. And when I mean all touchscreen is that you can play the whole game just using the touchscreen.

But I really enjoy eba, does it balance ff3 out because of the replayabilty with eba?

EBA and FF II are both fun games. IMO EBA wins by a long shot. FF III is fun, but there are just better FF's out there. For example FF VI for the GBA. EBA was the right choice IMO...enjoy!!

I haven't played EBA, but I say the same thing.. if you're enjoying EBA, then you should feel that you made a good purchase.

Though, I'd give FFIII a try sometime later.. if you're into RPGs, that is. It can be all touchscreen control, all traditional, or a mix of both. They don't force you to do some things one way or another, but its more of a comfort thing.. choose what you like best.

And, while there have been better FFs released.. its still, by far, the best RPG released for the DS.

Well since you only play at night, then you probably don't play too long right? In that case, EBA was the right choice.

dont get FF3!!! i have it and using the touch screen is pointless and makes the controls much more difficult. The game also has no replay value once u have finished it and it shouldnt take that long 2 do so.I havnt played EBA but im sure it is better than FF3

No I don't think you'll be sorry having bought EBA. I just got a DS right after Thanksgiving so researched what the best games would be to get and so got that as well as Mario Kart, Starfox, Asphalt Urban 2 and a couple of others... I liked EBA at first but it wasn't until a couple of weeks into it that it really took hold, partly I think because I had the other games to play as well. Now I have to tell myself that my Elite Beat Agent machine is also capable of playing other games too!

You can't go wrong with EBA. It's darn addictive, and although there's aren't that many songs (19 if you unlike the three bonus songs) there are four difficulties and it's challenging enough to where you'll be playing it for a while before you get bored. Good choice.

it depends on how long you want to play for.  I prefer any final fantasy game over any other game.. but EBA would be good for small periods of time late at night..

There is no "right choice" or "wrong choice." They are both very good games and very good choices. I think you should try out FFIII later, though. Its only real problem is that it's punishingly difficult.

Well either one would have been fine then. I have only played EBA on my friend's DS and it was pretty fun, although I liked Warioware better. I do own FFIII and once you beat it once, you won't go running back to it, unless you want to do the side quests. It takes about 30 hours to beat it though.
