One troubling quote that stood out to me is:
"The majority of the minis we've seen, thus far, require you to hold the Wii-mote horizontally (like an NES controller) and don't even utilize the motion capabilities of the remote, which sort of baffles us."
Add to that some of the wii-mote controls are unresponsive and things don't seem so great for Mario Party 8. At least not as great as you'd think they'd be.
After the endless barrage of mini-game collection from Sonic to Monkey Ball I figured Nintendo would nail the ultimate party game with pitch perfect motion controls and innovation. I guess not. At least that's not what early signs are pioining too.Â
