I don't know I'm just glad I didn't buy the game b/c I was just like the hell with this game; this is the 1st zelda i have not finish since the NES-era.

Well seeing as the main quest takes about 50-60 hours to complete i think you're a little too impatient.

I think its a well made solid game and all that. I like adventure games even the Zelda series but gave up after 14-16 hours or something, too bland and dull. For me personally in my collection I rank it below Wii Sports, Excite Truck and even Red Steel because I enjoyed them a lot more (even if they're faulty in some area's).

I've not finished it neither, alought I have more than 40 hours of play.
But since I have bought it and I don't have to bring it back I'll surely finish it soner or later.

Anyway I agree with you, I have found it boring sometimes and I had to take a break.
Then I play it again for 6-10 hours till I take another break.

I felt the exact same way when I started zeldaTP but it does get challenging about half way through......yeah, I don't know, play it if you want I'm just saying there is a bit of fun to be had after the game stops babying you.....

Took me over 60 hours to finish it (sidequests), and it was easily the worst since Zelda 2 on the NES. What the hell is the story even about? No continuity, no connection, and the main quests seemed thrown in as an afterthought.

Ya I loved that game actually. It depends on how much you like Zelda. I think Zelda is the greatest thing to happen to video games ever so I obviously enjoyed it. If you don't like Zelda, well then personally I think you have bad taste . But more importantly you won't like this game.

EDIT: Oh I didn't realize you said you were a big Zelda fan already. Hmmm well I dunno, it's not for everyone I guess. The wolf parts were annoying, but I still loved the game.

Yeah, I beat it , but like you I hit a wall right around when I arrived at Lake Hylia. Was pretty bored at that time. I stopped playing the game for a couple of months. i'm glad I picked it back up though cuz some of the most excellent temples are in the second half which shouldn't be missed. Those later temples made up for what I felt about the game early on. I'm hoping Ninty really changes things up on the next installment to refresh the series. If there is no drastic changes to the formula of ZeldaWii I will definitely be expecting bold new changes on ZeldaHD on Ninty's next console.

i dont know if im the only one on this or so,

but i really liked the game, but it felt way to much like OoT with smal extras.

but those smal extras made me really like the game,

i would clearly say its a AAA game ,like the rest of the series,

imo zelda is still the best series ever made

I finished the game and had a good time. Its my least favorite of the 3D games but I would still give it a 9.5 out of 10, its a great game just not as good as the others.

Well as the game progresses you turn into a wolr less and less. If you like Zelda games thiers really no reason why you shouldn't enjoy this game. I recomend you give it a little more time.

I finished it about 8 times, thats including the fact that I got the GC version before I got a Wii to play the Wii version. I'm a Zelda fanatic so I guess I'm being bias but I love the game. If it bores you though, no worries. At least you didn't buy it. Are you just straight shooting through it or are you collecting, playing side games and things like that?

I lol'd at "Mundin"

I finished it thrice, liked it more than OOT, which I personally think is stupidly overrated. It was good, but Majora's Mask remains the best of the 3D games.

Of course I completed it. And I thought it was awesome, though the wolf levels can get a bit repetitive.

And I don't know how you managed tochange Midna into Mundin:P

But maybe you have to wait a little while and then play it again, I also had this with Okami, but after I waited a little while I loved it.

TC, stick to it. Once you get past a certain point, you can switch between being human Link & wolf Link at will.

It is boring until you beat the 3rd temple. Then it becomes one of the greatest games I've ever played. Mainly cuz u dont have to look for Tears of Light and you're not trapped as a wolf.

Do yourself a favor and keep at it. Me I'm replaying the game atm. I love Zelda :D

i thought the game was great. i have played through it two times completing all side quests. the only part i did not like was collecting all the "droplets" from the insects each time you reached a new area. that was rather tedious.

It does start off kinda slow and doesn't hit full stride until you get the master sword, but it is indeed an amazing game. My favorite Wii game period (and I've played about 50 of them) and is at least in my top 20 games of all time.

Easily one of the best GameCube/Wii games available, if you don't finish it, you don't deserve to call yourself a fan of video games, and as everyone is saying the further you progress into the game the better it gets, keep playing, you'll thank yourself later.

I loved everything about it. I beat it in the first week, and wasn't bored at all.

Everytime I play Ocarina of Time, I get so bored. It's not fun at all. I have to force myself to play, and I still haven't beaten it.

Edit: It was revived apparently... I'm suprised I didn't catch it.

I agree. To me, Zelda TP seemed confused whether it wanted to be an adventure game or an RPG and it ended up failing at both. The clumsy battle mechanics did not help either.

I just beat the game on last Thursday night for the first time, collected everything possible with the priemium guide. Clocked in under 40 hours. All in all, if I collected everything in the game on my first run through under the 40 hours mark, I have to say the game has a pretty good pace. The only complain I may have is that the bosses and dungeons are way too easy(I don't check the guide for dungeon walk throughs, I only use the master checklist for Heart container and poes). The only jam I had through out the whole freaking game is the water temple's master boss key b/c I underestimated the size of the underground water chamber.

One more thing, I love the story, I think it was very cute. But the chains and ball is lame. Should have exchange the slot with mirror shield that unleash sun light to deal with icy puzzles.

And and I wish there is a second quest, and I could have more interaction with the dentizens of the twilight world. Pretty much all the 2nd tier supporting characters are weak in the game. But all the mini games were really cool.

No offense, but if you've been playing for seven hours and still haven't picked up that the imp lady is named "Midna", I kinda have my doubts regarding how much attention you're paying the game. :P

I'm forcing myself to play through the game again at the moment. I beat the story last time around, but I didn't collect/get everything that needed to be done last time around (Poes, Bugs, etc). I just couldn't force myself to do it.

I still don't know if I'm going to get all of the above mentioned. I don't mind 1 fetch quest, but when you throw 2 in there... that's a little too much for my tastes.
