Well seeing as the main quest takes about 50-60 hours to complete i think you're a little too impatient.selbiewell i spend almost 50 hours into oblivion, and i'm going to try to spend a little more time into this game since i'll have it for another 5 days.
Ya I loved that game actually. It depends on how much you like Zelda. I think Zelda is the greatest thing to happen to video games ever so I obviously enjoyed it. If you don't like Zelda, well then personally I think you have bad taste . But more importantly you won't like this game.
EDIT: Oh I didn't realize you said you were a big Zelda fan already. Hmmm well I dunno, it's not for everyone I guess. The wolf parts were annoying, but I still loved the game.
i dont know if im the only one on this or so,
but i really liked the game, but it felt way to much like OoT with smal extras.
but those smal extras made me really like the game,
i would clearly say its a AAA game ,like the rest of the series,
imo zelda is still the best series ever made
I finished it about 8 times, thats including the fact that I got the GC version before I got a Wii to play the Wii version. I'm a Zelda fanatic so I guess I'm being bias but I love the game. If it bores you though, no worries. At least you didn't buy it. Are you just straight shooting through it or are you collecting, playing side games and things like that?
*spoiler alert (maybe)*I lol'd at "Mundin"
after spending about 7 hours into the latest zelda TP; i have to say it's boring the crap out of me. I hate....I hate turing into wolf, and I hate that little annoying Mundin (guide)
I don't know I'm just glad I didn't buy the game b/c I was just like the hell with this game; this is the 1st zelda i have not finish since the NES-era.

I finished it thrice, liked it more than OOT, which I personally think is stupidly overrated. It was good, but Majora's Mask remains the best of the 3D games.
Of course I completed it. And I thought it was awesome, though the wolf levels can get a bit repetitive.
And I don't know how you managed tochange Midna into Mundin:P
But maybe you have to wait a little while and then play it again, I also had this with Okami, but after I waited a little while I loved it.
I finished it and enjoyed it greatly.
TC, stick to it. Once you get past a certain point, you can switch between being human Link & wolf Link at will.

its supposed to take 50-60 hours........ i beat it under 40 hours and im 14.

It is boring until you beat the 3rd temple. Then it becomes one of the greatest games I've ever played. Mainly cuz u dont have to look for Tears of Light and you're not trapped as a wolf.
Do yourself a favor and keep at it. Me I'm replaying the game atm. I love Zelda :D
It does start off kinda slow and doesn't hit full stride until you get the master sword, but it is indeed an amazing game. My favorite Wii game period (and I've played about 50 of them) and is at least in my top 20 games of all time.
Easily one of the best GameCube/Wii games available, if you don't finish it, you don't deserve to call yourself a fan of video games, and as everyone is saying the further you progress into the game the better it gets, keep playing, you'll thank yourself later.
I loved everything about it. I beat it in the first week, and wasn't bored at all.
Everytime I play Ocarina of Time, I get so bored. It's not fun at all. I have to force myself to play, and I still haven't beaten it.
Edit: It was revived apparently... I'm suprised I didn't catch it.
I got 40 hours in the Cube version then sold and started over in Wii one. I haven't played it to much yet. So no.
I really liked it, and I did beat it. And if you found Midna annoying did you ever play Ocarina of Time? Navi is 10x more annoying.
I just beat the game on last Thursday night for the first time, collected everything possible with the priemium guide. Clocked in under 40 hours. All in all, if I collected everything in the game on my first run through under the 40 hours mark, I have to say the game has a pretty good pace. The only complain I may have is that the bosses and dungeons are way too easy(I don't check the guide for dungeon walk throughs, I only use the master checklist for Heart container and poes). The only jam I had through out the whole freaking game is the water temple's master boss key b/c I underestimated the size of the underground water chamber.
One more thing, I love the story, I think it was very cute. But the chains and ball is lame. Should have exchange the slot with mirror shield that unleash sun light to deal with icy puzzles.
And and I wish there is a second quest, and I could have more interaction with the dentizens of the twilight world. Pretty much all the 2nd tier supporting characters are weak in the game. But all the mini games were really cool.

No, I haven't finished it. Actaually...it's the first Zelda game I've ever played that I haven't beaten. Turning into the dog is just...sigh.
I'm forcing myself to play through the game again at the moment. I beat the story last time around, but I didn't collect/get everything that needed to be done last time around (Poes, Bugs, etc). I just couldn't force myself to do it.
I still don't know if I'm going to get all of the above mentioned. I don't mind 1 fetch quest, but when you throw 2 in there... that's a little too much for my tastes.
