I dunno if its because that site lies, or if its because UK cases are diferent to US ones, but that flap doesnt exist on any of my games.

It's not an SD card holder, it just can be used to hold SD cards.

 I knew it too. I saw it was there and I used it to hold my SD card. I didn't know if that was what it was actually for, but that's what I've been using it for.

I saw those things when I got my first Wii Game (Zelda), but I never knew why they were there for and never thought it could be used for SD cards! And it actually works! (Just tried it)

it isn't an sd card holder, although you can use it for that, what it is is for a two disc game, its for a tray to hold the 2nd disc.

That is intended for a second disc holder and they are just using it for that since it is there already.
