Looking back on it, I really don't think so. I mean, sure some games were fun. A lot were fun to play online. But there aren't too many good games to play. On the DS. Well that's my thought at least, what is your'se?

my perspective is from never owning a DS.
i checked wikipedia for a list of all DS games that look good and i made a list of games to buy. i did the same for gameboy, gameboy color and gameboy advance...these were my results.
DS: 45 games
GBA: 68
GBC: 29
GB: 30
im not saying i will keep all those games...but i will buy them and check.
according to my list GBA had a bigger library... im not saying it had a better library because i still haven't played all the games.
In my opinion it does have a better library than the GameBoy Advance. I did really enjoyed playing a lot of DS games.en-bitThough you could say that about any console.
The DS' library pretty much nailed everything, being the only place one can go to for games that are both funny and tragic at the same time.
I think the DS had a really good game library. My favorite DS game is still Advance Wars: Dual Strike, but that is a hard game series to beat.
The first few years the ds was out i wasnt all that interested in the library of games but now its been out for so long i think there are plenty of quality games to choose from. I still have a huge amount to collect before i get the 3DS.
No, it doesn't have a good library of games. It has an amazing library of games. That's all I have to say about that.
SO many good games, and I actually liked the DS more than the Advance. Now I have to go back to my hmmm fifth (maybe?) playthrough of Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor. Then maybe I'll put that final hour on my 399 hour playtime in Pokemon White.
Not really. I mean, they had their bursts of awesome games like, twice a year. But then it kinda died off. Like the Playstation 2 & Gamecube. In my opinion, they had way too many Baby/Children's games for the DS :lStarleaf92
Eh. You can't really look at the library as a whole, every system has their share of crap.

I doubt that because you had the PSP which many T to M rated games. The DS actually has a buttload of games rating E (over 1200) and a bunch of 'early childhood' games.
it is as big and as diverse as the wii library and gb nes ps2 ps1 libraries alike so ya why not, ,
and i tihnk 3ds will be no different whether or not it sells 140 million is un needed for me to say it is awsome

oh wow this debate in a 3ds/ds forum get to system wars now! but since you asked for it ,, all systems have more e and t rated material then m , and since when did rating define a good game if that did define the library as being good then i guess the best we had was n64 back then because it has more shooting games and most of these games were actually good in comparision to the many we see today rated m so your logic is that we have to have a truckload of fpses on our consoles to have fun games lol[QUOTE="ale_gamr"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] then i assume you never liked any system's library? because all of them have "way too many baby/children's games".mariokart64fan

That is one of the reasons why I'm just getting around to owning a 3DS, the library has yet to pique my interest. Every other console has alot more M rated games than the DS.

well if you're the kind of person who judges quality based on ESRB rating, then i have nothing further to add.[QUOTE="ale_gamr"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] then i assume you never liked any system's library? because all of them have "way too many baby/children's games".BrunoBRS

then you should know that just because it has a whole lot of E rated games doesn't mean the library is worse. you clearly stated the PSP has a better library because it has more games rated T and M.[QUOTE="ale_gamr"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] well if you're the kind of person who judges quality based on ESRB rating, then i have nothing further to add.BrunoBRS

I just re-read my previous comments. You misunderstood my point. I was simply pointing out the fact that DS had more kiddies game than most consoles. I also rarely play E rated games though so it seems my opinions on this matter could be biased. Anyway, whatevz.
