Ok, I don't have either the Wii version or the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess (or a Wii at all for that matter).

I'm curious if the Wii version of TP is any better graphically speaking than Gamecube? Basically, I'm just wondering if the Wii version is just the same as the Gamecube only with the Wiimote instead of a control pad? Or is there more to it?

This is a deciding factor on whether I really want a Wii or not, so any help appreciated.

The only difference between the GC an Wii of TP is that the Wii version is a mirrored version of the GC version, you know Link is left handed (sword on the left side), the Wii version has him as a righty.

Oh I see. hmm. I was hoping maybe it would be an upgraded version slightly. Still will probably get a Wii though as there are lots of good games coming.

I think the Wii version lets you play the game in 16:9.

The Wii version, unlike the GC version, can be played in widescreen, the whole game is mirrored, and the controls are different. I think that's everything..

Wii: Aiming accuracy with the Wiimote pointer.  Also allows 16:9 Widescreen.
GC: Controllable camera with the C-Stick.

The Wii version is better, especially if you already own other 3D Zelda games that use traditional controls.  Also, in my opinion, a free-camera is overrated and adjusting it interferes with the gameplay experience.Â
