How are the games sales? I know that the sales is the determining factor if it comes to america.
So any chance of it reaching the american shores?

This shows the sales in Japan, but I'm not sure how updated the sales are, as the European sales are not on there.
And as far as it coming to America, this article here would probably answer that for you.

Who? bush or osama? I'm no longer in the democracy. I've changed to feudalism.
-and i'm not a "yankee". i'm from the south. go ahead. make "redneck" jokes. i personally don't know anyone who would fit that category.

Anyway, Disaster is one of my closely watched games. Reggie doesn't dig it, and since he's a gamer and plays videogames he would know.
Unfortunately it looks like we'll never see it in NA, so importing is the way to go...
I seen reports of a lack of sales in Europe which may factor it coming over here.
It's a shame that a good new franchise won't see our shores. Import probly...
Europe, help your buds across the pond and buy this game!!!!

I did my part
I have this game for some time now, almost finished. When i'm done i'l post a "review". ;)
The game is selling embarrassingly bad for a first party product.
Nintendo should have shelved it like they did Project HAMMER

True, though what do they expect with little to no advertising?
It's due in a week's time here in Australia (13th November) and I've not seen one single TV ad, print ad, in-store "COMING SOON" or anything. It's still all Wii Sports, Mario Kart and Smash Bros. ads (stuff that has been out for ages). There are ads for "hardcore" 360 and PS3 games all over the place, but Wii ads keep falling back on the same old games, showing nothing new.
Did they seriously expect it to succeed with no public awareness? The only people who would know anything about it are people like us who research and discuss games on the Internet, and bearing in mind how small a percentage of the Wii owner base we make up, it was always going to fail.
If Nintendo expected anything else they are either out of touch with the public or just plain arrogant.

you mean, you'd buy the game if it sold really really really well in Europe and came to America?
you know you can't right? you promised not to buy new wii games anymore...and i can prove that you said it. lol.

Yeah hopefully we might see some commercials since they put a trailer on the Nintendo Channel before its release.
But if the crappy sales continue I guess it's sorry Americans, you can feel some of the pain that us PAL region gamers have to live with. ;)

Hmm, from the sounds of that article, I'm guessing we actually aren't missing much.
I've seen the gameplay videos- it looks interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game turned out to be a complete flop.

reggie is an idiot. Disaster is awesome. and since Wii owners have almost nothing this holiday, this would have been something decent in the least.
