I use them, but I set my Wii to 480i and 4:3 ratio. I tried setting the wii to 480p and 16:9, but in all honestly, it looks worse. Anyone else do this? or am I just doing something wrong?

I guess some games just don't support native 480p settings, unless Wii Home also looks uncoordinated.

You will get a slight pixelation of some things, like in Wii Sports some of the vector lines are jagged, but the textures on the playing surface are better.

it could be your TV because I have mine set to 480p and widescreen and it looks great, maybe a loose cable?

Maybe because you put it in widescreen, when you should not be using it? I don't know. It does work however.

Well if you set it to widescreen and then play games that weren't built for widescreen (Excite Truck, Ghost Squad, Rayman, etc.), there might be a drop in quality since the image is being stretched out. Otherwise, it should look better, unless there's something wrong with your TV.
