to they ever grow up? and are there any cheats? and what the hell are the meteors for?

I haven't played it, but I thought that it's charm was that you take care of puppies. I don't think there are any codes for it either.

No, they never age. I don't think Nintendo wanted the dogs to age at all for two reasons: 1. Becoming mature dogs make cause them to lose some of their charm with kids 2. Having them age can imply that they could/should eventually die, and I read Nintendo certainly didn't want that because of the effect it could have on kids.

It's a shame they don't age, but I guess it is kinda cool as they can't die and all.

Yeah, I read this review on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Amazon.com and there was this woman who rated it a 1 out of 5 because she said her daughter was traumatized because her Chao died...
