I would think so. 140k in the U.S. is not too bad. At least when considering Suda was disappointed with Japan's sales. If you look at the chart it performed three and a half times better here in the states. If he was unhappy with 40k than 140k should sound like magic. I know a lot of us are hoping for a sequel, especially considering the ending of the game. Does anyone think feel that this proves enough of an audience for a higher profile sequel?

Its definitely a success compared to Killer 7. But No More Heroes' ending doesn't really leave much room for a sequel, does it?

I think this may be a little bit bad, but compared to the sales in japan of course its very good. I hope there will be a sequel, I enjoyed it very much.

well if you consider that it hasn't hit UK yet ( ithink, thought itmight be on the 14th) but it still has time to sell there, so hopfully it can reach zack& wiki sales at 300K, i know he wanted to get it at atleast 500K, hopfully it does, because it deserves it.

Maybe he just got the normal ending...I hear you die in that one. And yeah, I would consider the game a success. I mean, it's definitely more successful in the U.S. when compared to it's Japan sales. I hope there's a sequel; I know I'd buy it!
You die in the real ending(atleast thats what they leave you to believe), but the other ending sort of leaves you hanging.
But I would also really like a sequel too.

It's good for a Suda game but compared to most games its horrible. Probably enough for a sequal though since Suda was already talking about one, and Suda doesn't expect huge sales.

Games like this shouldn't have sequels. It diminishes the charm. I'd rather Suda work on another original project.

Hmm, I both agree and disagree on this one. A sequel can dimish the impact of a great original game but this one was SO good I kinda don't care and want a sequel anyway :D However Suda working on a new game could be just as exciting. Don't forget though that he's working on Fatal Frame 4!

It's not like a sequel starts where the last game ended...

No. I'm just saying No More Heroes 2 (which Suda wants to make) doesn't need to start 10 minutes after the ending of NMH, he would most likely introduce some new elements etc in for the setting of NMH2.

(That said, I have no friggin idea of what is NLH endin)
