Do we need a new Donkey Kong game for the DS?

I think we need a new title. But I haven't heard anyrthing new about it. Nothing!

Does anyone know anything about the development of a new one? If so, is it soon? If not, not for this generation?

I don't feel like playing any of the old ones, but I want to try a new one. Any ideas?

Yes we definately need a new one and i have been wanting one forever!!! An old school side scrolling DK would be awesome but a 3d one would be cool seeing as nintendo would make it and 1st party games are usually very successful.

I don't know. Rare created the best DK games ever and since there not with Nintendo anymore, I don't think we'll ever see a true DK game again.

I'd like to see another Donkey Kong game but I doubt very much it would be as good as Rare developed them. Paon now develop the Donkey Kong games but I don't think they are that great with making them as for DK Jungle Climber it was decent but slow. I'd rather see a Donkey Kong Country collection 3 games in 1 get released of the SNES versions on the DS.

a new DK game would work great for DS. youve seen others get a DS spinoff, like Zelda and New Super Mario Bros., so I think its time for a revival with multiplayer additions. New Donkey Kong Country DS, It would do well compared to the fact that nintendo repackaged NSMB to the Wii for two extra players. With that in mind, renewed classics is the DS's strong point. So making NDKC DS would probably bring back DK as a platformer and grant another Wii game as well. DK 64 was great fun, but DK hasn't done his own stuff since then. Nintendo it is Time to make New Donkey Kong Country DS.

Rare can still develop for the DS. I'd rather have a Donkey Kong game for the Wii though.
