I know the Donkey Kong Country games were on there but what about the others in the topic? I only ask this cause they are from Rare and Microsoft owns it.
I would the only likely canidate is DK64, and I don't see that happening any time soon.
I wish the two companies would settle with eachother, and just release;
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
Diddy Kong Racing
Conker's Bad Bur Day
and
GoldenEye
on both consoles and call it a day. They would both see nice sales figures, and I could see a deal of Nintendo 60-70% and M$ getting 30-40% on each sale. It's a no brainer to me.
Well all those games are questionable because Rare is involved and microsoft is involved with rare so we need a miracle somehow Nintendo has to buy out Microsoft
I think theres no chance of Diddy King Racing because Microsoft owns Rare now. Nintendo could only remake Diddy Kong Racing for DS because for some reason Rare can only make handheld games for Nintendo so long as characters like banjo and conker aren't in it. I may be wrong but that's what I read somewhere ages ago.

Diddy Kong Racing is on the DS and it had characters removed such as Banjo and Conker so if they do have a remake on the VC, then it'l be the same thing. DK64 would happen.. But not yet.. Conker already had a remake on the Xbox back in 05 so NO. It's sad really, it was my first M rated game.
DK64: yes, and will eventually make it to the VC and I hope it's soon.
The others: No, Rare remade DK Racing because they own the rights to Banjo and Conker. Both of them were in the game. They removed them and replaced them with different characters and made the DS game. Conker is owned by Rare so it will never come to the VC.
DK64- Its possible. Nintendo owns Donkey Kong so the fact it was made by Rare doesnt change anything. But I do know that it had a special extension for the N64 which might cause some problems...
Diddy Kong Racing- Not really much of a chance. Conker and Banjo was in the game. Nintendo would have to somehow take them out.Â
