I absolutely never do. There aren't any games that need arm movement where the wrist strap is necessary, anyway... I have a feeling that most of us don't wear it. Do you?

Nope.
If I lose my TV due to my uncontrollable urge to whip my Wiimote at it, I don't deserve either. On the other hand, if I drop my Wiimote, I'll pick it back up and continue using it, because its a Nintendo product and I know it won't explode due to a small accident.
it comes off.I always wear mine. Not just for safety, but the strap whips around if I don't wear it.

The only time I wear it is when I have friends over that I don't trust will keep a good grip on the remote, so I set an example and put the strap on and say in a innocent voice, " better put the wrist strap on so we dont damage anything". Then I breath a big sigh of relief.

Thats why you undo the strap and take it off if your not using it.
I saw someone say that they don't use gloves. I guess I never thought of wearing my old FB gloves or a golf glove. I kind of like that idea if I am going to play Tiger. Doubt I would play any other game with them as that is the only game with full motion. That and maybe baseball games.
I wear it -- just because I always did when I first got mine .. I'm just used to it.Haziqonfire
Agreed.
Plus, I don't want to be one of those guys that just happens to let go and lose a TV.

thats exactly why i wear the wrist strap
it doesn't flap around if you remove it. i'm more worried about the wiimote hitting the hard floor then the tv set, but that strap is annoying.you know you can take it off very easily.... right? just like pull on the little bit of string then feed it through and it's off.... and can go back on easily at any time....I always wear mine. Not just for safety, but the strap whips around if I don't wear it.

and no i've never worn it since like the first week i got the wii. it's an unnessecary nuisance
just take it off. Tha's what i did :D It was to itchy :PI always wear mine. Not just for safety, but the strap whips around if I don't wear it.

theres one good reason not to play it.It's annoying as heck. I have to flip the Wiimote around sometimes in Zack and Wiki, which is impossible with a wrist strap on.

It is possible to play the game with the strap on since I've always played my games with it on. Except for Guitar Hero that is.
yup always wear it, i would hate drop the wiimote during an epic power struggle in madworld only to have it break.
I wear it, mainly because it's become second nature to do so. Altough I did change it for a slightly thicker one, because the one packaged withtheWiimote kept slippingdown my wrist, even when tightened.
