I was wondering, at first i thought it would feel uncomfortable with it being sideways but it's OK. But since i just got the classic controller, i find that much better. I wanted to know if you guys think it's good cause i might get Super Paper Mario... It would be nice if SSBB would use the classic contoller, and if i could use it Super Paper Mario, but in that game you need to shake the contoller and point.

And also, i didn't own a gamecube, but should i have gotten that controller instead? I also want to borrow friend's gamecube games and i need ANOTHER controller. It's kinda weird have the remote, the nunchuk and the classic controller, if i get the GC controller, it might be too much!

It's fine sideways.   Clearly it isn't going to be as comfortable as a controller that is designed and sculptured to be held sideways.  But the Wii controller isn't UNcomfortable so it's not a big deal.

I find the Wiimote comfortable sideways. I have a Classic Controller because most of the VC games I play/will play, are SNES games, and it is very similar to the SNES pad, which I love. Get a GC controller if you plan on getting any GC games to play on the Wii, and a lot of people like using the GC controller more than the Classic Controller for N64 games.

Wow. I think I must be the only one that hates holding it sideways.

At first I found it a bit odd cuz of the uneven sides but I got used to it.....everyone playing Super Paper Mario will have to get used to it lol.

the only thing that sucks is the connector on the end kinda irritates my hand, other than that it's fine

I didn't like at first, but I'm fine with it now.  I don't like using it in Sonic, but its not the worst controlled game ever...
