I don't. How about you?

Yes, my Wii is connected to the Internet. I don't know what I would do without it because a lot of my games are downloaded.
Due to the sever lack of internet support on the Wii (its not very good for games and such) I hardly use it, but yes I have it. I game online mostly on PC.
Yeah, I connect everything to the internet that I can. I play online games sometimes and I download lots of DLC.
If you have a router, why isn't it hooked up?
Netflix is almost reason alone, the netflix channel just passed Smash Bros, and is climbing its way closer to Mario kart on our most played list in the nintendo channel.
Plus the virtual console is an amazing feature, all the games I loved as a kid, or didn't get a chance to play for five bucks? Sold!
Yup. I use it for Wiiware and Virtual Console downloads as well as checking out clips on the Nintendo channel (the extreme challenge clips are a hoot to watch). The whole family like to participate in Everyone Votes too.
Yes I do, I have a great connection too since I use a LAN adapter for wired internet. I play Brawl and Animal Crossing with my friends online every now and then and use the Wii Shop, but I usually play multiplayer games locally.
mine wont connect, i have tried for agees and still no luck
i have called customer support they have taken me down the same path i have and all the info is correct, i have even tried doing it manually.
it keeps saying my key is wrong 'Error Code:51330' which it is far from it.
Does anyone know if i buy one of the wifi usb connectors will that work, even though i already have wifi?
i really want the internet on my WII

It's well worth a shot, but keep the receipt, it may just be your ISP. My ISP blocks the port that I need to get on games like goldeneye and black ops, but every other game works fine. Try it out! They've got really good usb connectors at radioshack on the cheap
ok thanks,
if by any chance it is my isp will i just have to ring the up to unblock it, have any ideas?

Not sure, I'm going to call my ISP tomorrow morning to try and get them to unblock the stuff I need to play black ops, I'll be posting on here if i get any positive results from it!

The Wii has built in wireless so you do not need a router if you're going to use the Nintendo wifi USB connector, it just plugs in to a port on your computer. I used it for a while before I got my linksys router.
Of course mine is connected. when i first got my wii and didnt know much about it, it was fun for a while but surely enough, without the internet, it started to collect dust. But once i hooked it up maybe a year, year and a half, after i got it, ive been playing it non stop. (this was back in 2008 i believe, maybe 2009 at latest)
i love playing online games, netflix, and dowloadable games and channels are the best. i would really recommend you get it hooked up if you can. it really adds a lot to the experience
I do. I play Mario Kart Wii online sometimes and just like to look around the Nintendo Channel and the Wii Shop Channel every now and then. Letting Nintendo collect anonymous information on which games I play and for how long I play them should aid them too.
I think it would be wise to take advantage on Nintendo's WiFi conection on Wii. Online smash bros. is a super fun game to play along with games like:
Exite Bots: Trick Racing
Mario Kart Wii
Call of Duty: Black Ops
And a few others.
Get connected ASAP 8)
Edit: also the Nintendo channel and the Everybody votes channel are a big plus to have if you decide to download them at some point.

i have a router and everything it just doesnt work for some reason.
I keep getting the error code '51330' and thats the one that says your key is wrong when, But my key is fine and is the right one.
MY alternate option is to buy a new router or the WiFi USB Connector which i think will be easier.
So what i was wondering is if the USB Connector will work even though i have a router and everything.
