Do you plan on buying final fantasy crystal chronciles the crystal bearers? if u dont know about it u should look it up, its gonna be the bomb. i think u all should tottaly check this game out! i know i will

Every Final Fantasy game I've played, I hated.

I will probably get it, considering it is the only polished-looking Wii game until next year (except for maybe Muramasa and NSB Wii). On another topic, is anyone disappointed this won't be multiplayer? The wii could really use a good multiplayer action rpg (and no, echoes of time does not count). Hopefully Monster Hunter will fill that void.reverend_green

It may have RPG elements but as far as I know, its not a by a books RPG. Its more of an adventure game. Sepewrath

The game sure looks interesting to me. I wouldn't mind given it a shot.

By different, people don't mean "take a traditionally stellar RPG franchise and water it down into a 10 hour action game". And no, the soundtrack is downright trashy.

My opinion is at least it's not rap, hip hop, or R&B.

Its a maybe for me. I haven't tried out the other one that was on the GC but from the gameplay of that it seems interesting. Ill have to read up more about it.

I'm from the midedle east (between the south easet and the north east). Practically on the border beween Maryland and PA. I didn't realize how big this type of music is here. Yes, some of the fans are backwards, but one of the guys in the blue grass band my friends drags me out to see is dating a girl from Philly. Confusing world.....

it might flop or it might not. but reviews have always given the soundtracks good reception. and if your gonna turn away from a good game because of the soundtrack than theres something wrong with u!!!!! u could always turn the sound off or listen to your ipod/mp3 or cd or stereo but like i said if your turning the game down because of the music is bad, than theres something wrong with u

the GC one is amazing. stellar gameplay and graphics and a okay story. also theres games on the DS ( ring of fates, echoes of time ) and the wii ones ( my life as a king, my life as a darklord, echoes of time ). but u should totally look up the game, and if u wanna know more to u should check out the crystal chronicles union

I'm really looking forward to it. Unless something goes horribly wrong with this one, it's a must buy for me.

It doesn't look very good to me. It's going to have to get some epic good praise for me to give it a second glance.

I will wait for reviews. I didn't like the GC game, but this one does look better.

I like the concept and its art styIe, so I'll definitely look into it.

Stop trying to pull the sob story card that third parties fail because people want different, and when they get different they complain.. the screaming vocal minority that wants different is a tiny chunk of the Wii audience.. and I doubt even they wanted an on-rails game instead of a real deadspace, or a short action game instead of a traditional final fantasy:P

If I want something different, I'll pick up something like Monster Hunter Tri, not thisside-show developed by Square-Enix's C team.

Nah. It looks really boring to me. The combat in particular seems to be bad.

The main protagonast also looks like a girl, too.:P I wonder if that was intentional or not...

we havent heard much more than a few songs. so we dont know what the whole soundtrack is like.

it's ok if u dont like folk music. but please try to realize that for the people that a form of folk music belongs to, that that is their Linkin Park and Staind. that is the music they treasure. and none of us; no me, not u, not them, are the judge of good or tacky. we can only speak for ourselves. if u dont like a form of music, it's still not nice to call it names. besides, im pretty sure people consider what ever music u listen to isnt very pleasant either. taste in music is far to vast. but we dont have to be mean to each other. not about music.

and also, not playing a game because of music alone can make u miss some very good games. music is only one part of game's experience. not playing it for that reason doesnt take into consideration the other parts of the game. parts that many times are better and more experienced. please dont judge a game as a whole for one or two short comings.

I really don't know that much about it. I've never liked Final Fantasy games.

I'll wait for some reviews to come in let the reviewers tell me all about the game. I could care less about score, if the game seems fun i'll get it.

So a definite, "on my radar" for now.

Most of the wRPGs aren't linear at all, unless you're perhaps thinking of games like Diablo, which to me is more action adventure than RPG.psychobrew
