How many of you think buying DS was a mistake

For your question, i think that i answer for everyone who owns a DS that none of us even regret getting it in the first place.TriniPlayer
Amen, bro.
I regret it.
It's not that I don't like it, it's that I don't play it or want to.
Why buy a DS game when I could get another Xbox 360 game for like $20 more.
How many of you think buying DS was a mistake

I respect your views and all but this is the DS forums and if we wanted to talk about the xbox360,we very well know where to find the 360 forums.I regret purchasing my DSes (how do you pluralize DS?) a few months before news of the DSi hit. If I had know I would have waited and bought three of those instead (one for me, one for the wife and one for my son).
Edited for spelling.

I think he means regret buying the DS in general,i could be wrong though.
I play with my DS more than anything else. Mainly because it's portable but still it has a lot of great games.
Whoever is in the DS FORUMS and DISCUSS in the DS forums wouldn't regret it... or I can be wrong.... :|

That's a good point,if you posted a question like this in the DS forums, obviously, you would get alot of answers saying that he/she didn't regret it UNLESS someone from outside the DS forums said something else.
Absolutely not, except for when im in search of a new game, and all i see is Big mutha truckas 2, sum ripoff port for 13.98 at Target. Yeah thats how bad it is , it doesnt even have An equal ammount for you to see.

I play mine for the same reason and that theres a lot of good games on it :D
I did at one point regret buying a DS instead of a PSP. A few years ago when I decided that I wanted to put my DS aside and put down the money for a PSP becuase it was a time when there was really nothing on the DS that I wanted to play. After about 6 months of playing the PSP I realized that it was a waste of money for me. I already had an ipod, a dvd player and a pc for surfing the internet. So I sold my PSP and went back to my DS. Since then I have not regretted buying a DS. In the pasdt few years the amount of games that have come out for the DS has been great and I have very rarely found myself without something to play.
TO those who say why would I buy a DS when they can spend $20 on a console game, the answer is portability. I have two small children and don't really have the time to be able to sit down and play my 360 or Wii becuase of needing to keep an eye on the kids. The DS gives me the ability to be able to play and also keep an eye on them. Also I take it with me prett ymuch everytime I travel. Either my wife or I end up playing it on car rides even if we are only going an hour away.

Portability, precisely. Definitely makes travelling better, but another plus is being able to wake up, and stay in bed and play games, while still being comfortable, whereas using a console would require you to get up and get ready for the day (should do it while you're up).
You bring up a very good point. That's what I do when I wake up 3 or 4 in the morning and can't go back to sleep. Turn on the DS for an hour or so, make a little progress on whatever I've been playing, and go back to sleep more relaxed than I was before.

Sorry to go off-topic here, but if you can't fall asleep, I recommend reading Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi. Works wonders for me :D
But, I just like waking up in the summer when my parents are about to leave, and just playing while half-asleep until I can use the computer or play on the console.
