When I first got it I actually wanted a PS3 but acted too late and all the lines were already full for the launch, so then 2 days later there are full lines for the wii launch everywhere and somehow I find myself in front of a circuit city with one guy on line. I decide to stay on it because I wanted to play zelda and experienced one of the longest and coldest nights of my life. Frozen and angry I get home to plug in the wii and check out zelda. I new it was something special when I played a video game in a way I've never done so before and said wow every two minutes. Now I have about 36 wii games not including vc or wii-ware and play it daily.
So I like my wii way more now than when I first got it.
The Wii is the best home console to ever come out. Maybe not in some ways, i know, but overall. Any true gamer that plays games for the gameplay, for great stories and games, nothing compares to the Wii. It is my fav system ive ever had. Before it, i was basically done with video games, my PS2 and GC just collected dust. i sold them to get a DS which i used more, but i cant put down my wiimote. i'm in the middle of Alone in the dark right now, playing geometry wars(this game is my crack addiction) and that is not to mention playing SMG and MKWii. yea, it doesnt have the best graphics, best online, and misses some exclusives. but that is why i have a PC.
No. Most of the novelty has worn off and my complimentary system has stolen most of my gaming fire. doesn't mean it isn't a good system or it wasn't worth the purchase. I just don't feel the same as I use to about it.
No, I play it barely at all. I've lent mine out to my wife's friend recently, and am in no rush to get it back any time soon, since E3 showed that for the next year there's going to be a whole lot of nothing worth buying.
A penile atatchment for the Wii-mote and Wii music? No...there's a whole line-up of hit games coming for my other console, so that's where my money is going, as well as all my gaming time.
I was excied when I got the system...but now Im like BLAAAA...the wii hasnt impressed me, Im thinking about trading it in for an xbox360 or PS3. The Wii seems like it no fun anymore like the old days, Nintendo has to give me another Zelda with the motion plus, and has to be long and fun as hell...or the wii is going bye bye
I was excited when I first got mine last Christmas. I beat Mario Galaxy and Umbrella Chronicles pretty quick, so I was mostly anxious for Brawl. Then it came out, and it was great and all, but just felt like something I've already played, I don't know. If Brawl's random online wasn't so crappy, I would be more satisfied. With that said, my Wii just sits there, I only play it when my friends come over to play Brawl. I'm too lazy to buy Mario Kart. I'm not AS happy with it as I was when I first bought it. I hope more games that I'm more interested in come out for it, cause my PS3 just gets all the attention now.
I like it more now because I've had a great time already, but I know the best is yet to come over the next 2-3yrs. Best system I've ever owned and it hasn't even been out for 2yrs yet.
Yes and no. I like it for all the same reasons I bought it for but dislike it for the lack of good Wii games and poor Wii ports that were never meant to be used with the remote. If not for the Game Cube backwards compatibility and the Virtual Console I probably would have bought a used $75.00 PS2. So really I guess Im more impressed with the Game Cube, NES, SNES, N64 GENESIS, Turbo16, SMS, NeoGeo more than the Wii itself. LOL! But that's not to say the Wii is a bad system. Most of the games that were actually made to be used with the Wii Remote (and not poorly ported) are pretty good. We just need more of them! Or more time spent on developing games to be correctly used with the remote. Or in my opinion still... Not every 3rd party port needs to use the remote, especially if it wasn't originally designed to.

no not realy. then i had zelda TP,RE4wii,SPM to play and MP3, SMG to look forward to. I have now played those games to death and the games comeing out just are not wowing me

Yeah, Wii and PC gaming is a very good combination.
Oh, and to the TC, I think I don't like it as much now, but I still like it.
