[QUOTE="Ovirew"]Maybe because 1) We love Zelda, it's a great game series and it's always great when Nintendo makes a new one AND 2) We haven't gotten an official Zelda game for the Wii, Twilight Princess was developed for the Gamecube, and it has been 2 1/2 years since the Wii came out with still no Zelda game built specifically for the Wii.

I understand that...but Spirit Tracks was just announced. I really don't see them dropping 2 bombs on us like that. Did they say when the time frame ST's is supposed to be release?
people expect the biggest changes from the console versions. the handheld versions have traditionally been based on the innovations made by the main series. so that's why. they want something big and new, but that takes more time than duplicating an already created world (i.e. the wind waker spin-offs).miyamoto has already said it always takes a long time. zelda fanatics could spend this time re-playing the series in anticipation, or.... i don't know, play something else?
but naturally people are excited for E3. ;p
yeah, I guess I can agree with that. I do hope for big changes this time around...I just hope it doesn't involve some kind of reused "gimmick" like ST is reusing the vehicle concept.
I just don't like seeing people hoping for something that most likely won't happen (I hope it does just as much as the next person), but oh well. I don't want the forums in an up-roar like last yr's E3. That was painful on the eyes.
