Do you think Mario Kart Wii U will be announced at E3 2012?

Hey guys, With Mario Kart 7 just around the corner I have been thinking about what the Wii U version would be like and when its going to be announced. I would love to see this at E3 2012 with a tiny bit of gameplay footage. Also a release date for late 2012 or early 2013 would be very nice. What do you guys think.?

I'm thinking they'll get Smash Bros, Pikmin 3 out before a new Mario Kart 8.

Also, Mario Kart DS released nearly 2 years before Mario Kart Wii, I would expect the same for the Wii U version simply to avoid one stealing the others thunder.

Fall 2013 at the earliest, 2014 most likely unless they surprise us.

I'd be more interested in Pikmin, Star Fox, Wave Race revivals. And a full on Wii U Pilotwings, not more WuHu island.

If anything I think we'll see an F-Zerio before a Wii U installment in the mario kart series.

I think we'll see a new Mario Kart at E3 as Nintendo will be showing a lineup of games that they will have for the WiiU, much like this year when they showed the games they are planning. Personally, I think we will see it as a launch title or released shortly after. I don't think Nintendo will wait as long after launch to get another version out considering MKWii has sold almost 30 million copies.

I think the chances are greater than what you guys are saying. By announcing SSB before they even started it Nintendo has shown they are going to do everything possible to bulid hype for the Wii U. Showing a new Mario Kart game would be great for buliding said hype. But even if it were to be shown it would be at least two years away

It's too early, as much as Nintendo milks some of their franchises they never have two releases in two years. I suppose it could be announced as a future title, but everyone already assumes that anyway. meetroid8

They pretty much announced it when the producer of Mario Kart said that he was interrested in bringing it to the Wii U :P

I hope there's some sort of Auto-Vista Mode and Head Tracking in it with 24 Hourd Day/Night support.
