It will be way better than previous MP, but something in the pics tells it won't be as good as it could... And I'm not even talking about online, which pobably won't happen.

yeah, i hope they do something new with the controllers. i would like to see some new mini games that utilize the wiimote

A party game supposes you're not alone... Though I don't think online would hurt Mario Party, I believe it will always be more fun offline.
I think the WiiMote will breathe life into this sorta "dying" franchise. I hope they takes someone's idea that I read about bring back some of the best mini-games from the previous 7, (especially a lot from 1-3)

i think it'll be really good, but some of the last mario party games got horrible ratings. i hope this one will be as good as the really early ones =]vkr171
I liked al the Mario Party games. When I saw the ratings I realised I can't buy games because of ratings. I don't rely on other people to tell what I do and don't like.
First off, i love the series, every game is good. If Mario Party 7 was the first Mario Party game to come out no one would be complaining, i think just the fact that there are 8 of them, i dunno people automatically think they must be getting crappier every installment, very much not true. As for 8, yeah i'm expecting the best MP yet. When you have 70+ minigames to work with plus the wiimote, i can't see how Nintendo could really screw it up too bad.
Yes it will be excelent for two reasons 1. it is a new style of Control so it wouldn't feel the same as the others, and 2. every Even Numbered Mario Party was great, the only odd numbered Mario Party that was great was Mario Party, after Mario Party 2 every Odd Numbered Mario Party was just the same as the Mario Party before it, but the Even Numbered ones are the ones that change the series.

I think it will be great. I don't care what the reviews say I will definately be buying this game. I enjoyed 6 and 7 (4 and 5 not so much - the rest I only rented) so I'm sure this one will be good too.
